That's funny. I was just doing the same thing. I was going to try 3.9n and see how close that was.

The volume and the treble could be concentrically stacked as they are both 250K. I kinda don't want to mix the volume control with a tone stack control. I like the idea of the presence and midrange stacked the best. I will have to do some experimenting/testing.

Or perhaps fixed resistor across the 25k pot to get it's "seen" values closer to the original. However that would give it an audio taper affect. Not the worse thing to deal with.

That's where I thought about tweaking the cap size to adjust it.
