    Epic fail recovery (L4 functioning)

ooooohhh yeeeeaaaahhhh... good point. I have a looper pedal that just doesn't work with some plugs because it needs too much juice.

    Epic fail recovery (L4 functioning)

I see a lot of missing ICs, resistors, wiring, switches and jacks. Could have something to do with the lack of signal hahahaha If it's any consolation, my L4 works, but definitely developed issues--in the compressor section, I think. I'm also not looking forward to wading into those waters...

DEMO Breadboard builds [Tone Reaper //// Boss HM-2, MT-2 + mods /// JCM800 Pedal /// EAE Model feT]

Having built many of the Marshall emulations here, I'm curious to know how it stacks up to the PAL 800/M 800

    The Howling Overdrive (PPCB Lycan)

Very nice build and 80s horror aesthetics. Yeah, I think "overdrive" for this pedal is a bit of a misnomer in my mind. "Chug maker" would be a better name for it, or just "boost." Doesn't really do much spectacularly on its own, needs to feed another distorting pedal/amp. "Lycan.... the...

    Nobels ODR-C (Aion Andromeda Deluxe)

I really like this circuit A LOT--flexibility, beautiful decay, and tones abound

    Schematics missing from the store

I don't disagree that supplying the missing schematics for circuits that are chronically problematic is a good idea, though... it might even be positively beneficial. Low Tide and Acrobat, for example.

    Something like the Carbon Copy

What about the aion Elysium/Ibanez em-5 echo machine? I don't know about delay times and not really modulated, but it is a 3-knob delay that sounds great Otherwise, moonn dromtydning! Just kidding, it's not 125b, it's complicated, and skews to ambient/experimental. But it is super fun

SOLVED Acrobat - filter section not working

I don't know that I helped much, but I'm stoked you figured it out. I was about to do some tracing.

SOLVED Acrobat - filter section not working

Since the switch is symmetrically arranged, I would imagine that there should be a something on the pin neighboring the one with the X. I would bet it's the one with the X. That is perhaps your issue. I think you could also check for continuity with the switch pins and the banks of resistors...

SOLVED Acrobat - filter section not working

It's here https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/acrobat-parametric-distortion.24265/page-2 Sorry, it was for the height pot I traced, not the Q selector. Yeah, I think you'd have to be able to see the traces on the other side to suss out if there is a continuity issue. But you could just run a...

SOLVED Acrobat - filter section not working

Well, you can see them, particularly out of box. If you search, I helped with some traces of the switch in another acrobat troubleshooting thread.

SOLVED Acrobat - filter section not working

Well, might be the rotary Or traces thereof. Sounds like the other knobs are working, and the q is what's missing. I've also broken rotaries installing them into enclosure (crack).

    Schematics missing from the store

Yes I remember your thread, as well as your contributions to my low tide thread. II couldn't remember if you were working off the schematic, though

    Schematics missing from the store

As Nostradoomus points out, use the search function, you can often find what you need. Low tide is one of those, and you will definitely want to read the troubleshooting threads in any case. (Maybe that's why Robert doesn't post that particular schematic) Brain Drain, you've definitely seen...

SOLVED Acrobat - filter section not working

Just to make sure: the effect is hard to detect in some settings i.e. in the widest q (CCW selector) position and/or with height (right knob) near noon. The fact you are getting signal cut in the height may flag a working pedal because that's what it does. Test to make sure: distortion/gain...

    General Tso troubleshooting

Yes, I face the flat side of the ldr to the side of the LED where the light is produced. I think you could sub a vactrol, but you'd have to respect the ldr and led specs.

Aion FX Procyon: harsh decay (honey Bee)

unclear what you mean by harsh decay--meaning the clipping is harsh? I would check demo vids for the source circuit for comparison. Just checked, there are several! To begin with, this comparison one: and this one It looks like the controls are very interactive as well, and just a glance...
