    New Design

I've been chasing a sound that I've had in my head. It's high gain and kind of modern but it is it's own thing. I was hoping the Soldano pedal would get there, but it didn't. The hard clipping is super asymmetrical. Some of my previous attempts fizzed out. This one doesn't. It has a...

    Just Acquired (2) NkT-275 ?

Did you measure the transistors? What was the hfe and the leakage? The purpose of the charge pump is to invert the voltage (it will give you -9v).

DEMO A demo for April Autism Awareness month

My 19 year son is level 1. Super smart in some things (like scary smart). Some things not so much. It's a journey. What he really needs is for people to appreciate him for what he is instead of always trying to change him. It makes him feel that can can never fit in. Luckily, he has some...

    Missing Build Docs / Schematics

Is there a drill template for the Salesman? I'm too lazy to make one.

    Frost Drive

Looks great. You might want to look Chuck D Bones mods. I highly recommend them. It never hurts to have an extra Frost Drive.

Blu Tack vs Blue Painters Tape

I use both. It kind of depends on the situation for me. Usually blue tack is easier but sometimes it doesn't hold quite as well.

    Chinese MN3*** BBD Chips

I got some MN3005s from Polida a long time ago. MN3008 with MN3005 markings.

    Omitting chargepump from Delegate Boneyard

Jwin615's solution is easier two little jumpers.

    Omitting chargepump from Delegate Boneyard

Omit IC2, D101, D102, C101 and C102. Put a jumper from pin 1, IC2 to the cathode of D102. Look at the schematic and that should make sense.

PedalPCB Terrarium - Compact Daisy Development Platform

I find the Daisy easier than FV-1, but that's me. I program the FV-1, bare metal (assembly). I hate graphical design (even though Digital Larry's tool is great). I've used C for 40 years and program for my job.

    Lead solder zeners

They allow current in both directions. One side is the voltage designated for the zener and the other side is a regular diode with .65V or so. So you have to remember to add that to the forward voltage of the zener.

    Mercurial Boost

    At least one.

    OP2604 pedal suggestions?

I like the OPA2604 for opamp clipping - think Okko Dominator, Dumbloid, etc. probably,.would rock in those new Dumble pedals (crystal lettuce overdrives).

    JLCPCB Face plate

Sheepy Love - Diptrace Look in the faceplates directory. You'll need Diptrace but you can use the free version.

    JLCPCB Face plate

I, accidentally, ordered 1.6mm and it still worked. I meant to order 1mm. Next time, I won't make that mistake.

    JLCPCB Face plate

Decided to give a face plate a go. Turned out pretty well (besides being lame at naming pedals). It's a Sanguine Distortion (Revv G4). I have a couple extra. DM if you want one. Thanks to Szukalski for making the templates available.

Six String Stinger (Vertex Steel String)

I swapped the transistors to J113(s) and that sounded somewhat better. It's, basically, a couple of mu-amps into a big muff tonestack. AMZ had a similar circuit. Also, similar to a MIAB.

Six String Stinger (Vertex Steel String)

I don't like the sound of that pedal, either. I modded it and got alright sounds out of it.

    Aion PCB's

I don't like the power on the breakout board and I wish there were two group pads and the power pads on top.
