    Kliche Mini SE

@music6000 that it is. I couldn’t clear the pins of the dual pot orienting it the same way

    Kliche Mini SE

Thank you! Of course every diode I tried felt sturdy in the sockets until the ones that I liked best! I’ve also done the sockets and solder thing but didn’t trust myself the other day. My one worry with hot glue was that it would drip into the socket and insulate it enough to prevent a solid...

    Kliche Mini SE

One of the most fun PPCB builds I've done to date. Glad I pulled the trigger on this and did it up right even though I'm not the biggest Klon fan. Enclosure and knobs from Tayda. I tried a few silicon diodes but settled on matched 1n34as. One diode that I wish I had tried before hot gluing the...

Kewpie Fuzz Mockup Pedal - Arriving Soon!

Thank you! Nothing on there that I don’t have plenty of stashed away - but I wanted to make sure I have the right switches to fit LMS’ dress caps for at least one build of it. :)

    Pin-sanity

Finally a way to do something with all of the enamel pins I've collected but don't like putting on clothing. They look awesome and this is genius!

    Parentheses Fuzz Capacitors

General rule of thumb is ceramic below 1nf, film above 1nf until and including 1µf, but there's no need to be super anal about adherence in dirt circuits. Rob (Mr. PedalPCB) will usually specify tantalum if it's required, which is somewhat few and far between. Out of the couple hundred PPCB...

What is your favorite "Big Muff" circuit, and why?

Green Russian for overall use - it's the only that doesn't get "farty" on me on baritones and downtuned guitars, which is usually what I'm playing. I like the Ram's Head and Foxy Lady variants but they're pretty context dependent considering they blow out my low end. I thought I'd like the...

KiCAD Workflow Question (from Diptrace user)

This is super helpful, thank you! Is there a way to place components from a toolbar like in DipTrace?

KiCAD Workflow Question (from Diptrace user)

On Windows, and I cannot stress this enough, it is not only intuitive but it is practically easy to use. On Mac it feels like a cruel joke. I can draw and start simulating a muff in maybe 5-10 minutes

KiCAD Workflow Question (from Diptrace user)

I’m trying to get my feet wet with KiCad 7 - my mac has recently become my daily driver for work, and DipTrace for mac is atrocious. I’m looking for some advice on KiCad workflows, as the schematic editor is where I get bogged down and I’m unsure if the better option is to emulate my DipTrace...

I might be misremembering but can’t the drawing sheet be selected and then deleted? Not fun to have to do every time either way

How can I fix a sticky potemtiometer?

MG Chemicals 4140A works wonders for new sticky pots (and is very easy to DIY to save a few bucks: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/whats-in-the-mailbox-%F0%9F%93%AC-%F0%9F%93%A6.12436/post-224726). I imagine deoxit is better for pots that are sticky for other reasons, but I only ever really...

In Search Of… (post the obscure parts you need help finding)

I don't know if they're stocked anywhere but TT Elec / Welwyn RC65 series fit the bill. RC55 are 1/4w but aren't hard to find (~$2 ea on mouser). The Tepro linked above is from their TB series for what its worth
