    zero's various pedal builds

Chop shop. Only brief testing of this one so far, not sure it's all that it's hyped to be. As a clean boost I think the duocast is a bit better, and at high gain I have other pedals doing similar. Sounds alright into the ungula though. This is the metallic clear color from Tayda, looks quite...

    zero's various pedal builds

Ungula fuzz. Again with the new germaniums from eBay, this is two oc139. I also have the bits for cleft mod, which in my brief testing before I got the germanium in the mail I did actually quite like. 15nf for shift just to make @Chuck D. Bones happy.

    zero's various pedal builds

Duocast with AC 151. My first time ordering germanium from eBay. I have a couple of other similar ones, and I also have the silicon transistor I can try out too when I get a chance. I also purpose ordered capacitors from digikey, and then the 330uf still didn't fit lol I was thinking this...

    Even more new Tayda colors!

I assume this is that colour on a finished pedal. https://guptech.ca/products/baby-honker-dual-overdrive-boost-copy

SOLVED Mini Heterodyne Receiver Never Silent

Yeh I'll have to add a 4069 to my next digikey or tayda order, go from there, could be a month or two.

SOLVED Mini Heterodyne Receiver Never Silent

Im just now checking back over what I did. I recall pulling an IC from my working Low Tide (Presumably the 4046) and changing it out with heterodyne, but now if the issue is IC2 and not IC6 then that wasn't good troubleshooting and the issue may actually also be my 4069...which naturally I dont...

SOLVED Mini Heterodyne Receiver Never Silent

I found some demos while troubleshooting similar issues..... Apparently the way it divebombs the note when you stop playing is a feature, not a bug

    Any builders want to collaborate?

Id settle for a series of PDF's with just controls labelled. Vol, Tone, Gain Time, Mix, Feedback etc

    NPN Germanium sources?

I only have a TC1 here, but as best i can tell they're within the specs I asked for.

    NPN Germanium sources?

I've just got some bits from elebcz on eBay, took around 5 weeks to Australia for post but they're here finally.

    Klone (Kliche) Volume Pot Sub

My b10k was running like 8oclock for unity volume, I changed it to a10k and now it's maybe more like 11-12.

MODIFICATION Teaser: I've got a Circulator mod in the works

    Looks like I left it at B25K going off the photos I have. https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/zeros-various-pedal-builds.21780/post-298767 Chucks Mod's in post #12. I did 1, 2, 3, 4 (looks very similar to Raspymcnasty's in #43) 5, 6, 7 (dont think i changed C14) 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14(or maybe i...

    Does anyone LIKE soldering SMDs?

I enjoy the occasional challenge. Have only soldered 201's so far.

    SMD J201 without adaptors

I guess I was just asking if any of these I can just solder directly to the smd pads on the boards (which I see heaps of build reports of people doing, are they just getting lucky??) without adding them to adaptors and putting them into my TC1 to test. if the answer is none that's fine, just...

    SMD J201 without adaptors

I bought a couple of PCBs. Cobalt Desolate fuzz Chop shop (v3?) Son of Ben Cobalt will need adaptors and that's fine, I do have some, I know the others have pads for direct soldering, which I would prefer. My reading suggests not all smd 201s are equal, and I have ordered the actual 201s from...
