Are you using toner transfer? I find I don't get great detail with that method. I used to use the UV photo resist material with better results.

    PNP Ge Builds

I got a broken fuzz factory fixed it and just never really liked it but I was a tasteless then so maybe I should flip it and build my own. I have tested NPNs for pretty much exclusively muff builds I am interested in a tone bender. Honestly now that I have a clean amp I understand what people...

Spirit Box, built twice, neither works...

I used to use a low quality DMM for a long time just a cheap harbor freight DMM. It can even test some components which is nice.

Probably sound like a broken record on these builds, but yet again the 3pdt soldering looks suspect. This is how I do mine when I use a board.

    Stockade Overdrive

I see some germaniums in there that will cause a volume drop, not sure how you laid them out. I usually use four diodes in series like this. You could always experiment, this is just one combination that works but you still get a slight volume loss.

    Triangulum problem

Everyone has their way I guess, but I still stand by my statement that the soldering on the 3pdt look sketch.

    Triangulum problem

Unless it is a super bad quality 3pdt it should be fine I run my iron around 375 and it takes a brief hit to heat it up and then I fill it in. It might not/ probably is not the issue but it would eliminate a potential problem.

Your 3pdt soldering looks suspect need to fill in those bad boys.

    Stockade Drive loud popping.

Yeah the earlier versions of the Palisades did this as well. Most of the earlier boards I made had this issue I partially fixed it with optoswitching. I guess you could add the clickless board as a add one.

This is a version I made that had switches which allowed you to switch between independent boost or overdrive on then boost, but honestly I found the boost pretty meh. Felix doesn't have anymore of these board that I know of but maybe future improvements. Also the size of this is much better. I...

    Sherwood Drive - shrill sounding

It cuts a bit of bass most good overdrives do but mine isn't shrill or bitty and I use it on bass. I would describe it as smooth and warm. I would check out everything again I can get you voltages if you need.

    Super Heterodyne Receiver.

When I make my own faceplates or using a slightly inaccurate drilling template I make my pot holes 5/16' so everything fits together easier. With washer, nut and knob you would never see that slight gap.
