That does make sense to me though unless I'm misunderstanding the issue. Can't filter for something that hasn't been entered into the database. The issue is more that data isn't always entered correctly or at all on Mouser's end, even if a spec appears in the manufacturer's datasheet.

That's by design unfortunately. Power amp output is muted when the effect is bypassed.

What is your setup? I don't think you're going to get that tone with the Aion FX or the Rusty Box unless you're also playing into an SVT with a mic'd cab like in the video.

You can go higher, 33K, 47K, 68K, see how you like it. Decrease C14 to 47p or so if it gets too dark at higher resistances. IC3.2 is non-inverting so it would need a second resistor from pin 6 to VREF for that feedback resistor to have any effect on gain.

Output voltage peak to peak will be limited by the combined forward voltage of D3 and D4, so with volume and tone maxed it's not going to be more than 1.4Vpp, realistically even less than that. With the volume half way up that'll only be around 0.2Vpp. Pretty low. You could change D3 and D4 to...

Increase R24 to 1M-1.2M and decrease C19 to 1nF. That will give you about twice the output volume while retaining the cut-off frequency.

The question is whether it could hurt to put those LC filters there. Wish those tech notes weren't as bare bones and had some real life measurements. I came across some notes by Texas Instruments on filtering DC-DC converters today but haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
