SOLVED Sandspur fuzz - no sound, led and bypass work

You test the transistors by placing the negative probe on the negative terminal for power and the positive probe at each transistor leg. It is helpful to know the voltage at each leg. The bias trimmer and Sundial will help adjust the voltages.

SOLVED Sandspur fuzz - no sound, led and bypass work

I would suggest checking you voltages at the transistors and power input to the board. If that checks out, then proceed with an audio probe.

    Deofol overdrive

This is a really nice pedal. I have read that it is a tubescreamer variant for people who do not love tubescreamers. I would totally agree! I really like the variety of gain and the tone sculpting options. I had an issue with the toggles making contact with the lower pots and shorting the...

SOLVED Need some ears to help me with a client’s concern about some ‘fizzle’

Wow! I am impressed with the resourcefulness of the client. I also listened to the sound clip. If you hadn’t have told me that the fizzle was there, I would have not identified it. I will do client work too, but this gig is still a hobby. If I was in this situation, I might consider...

    Paragon Mini

Which money diodes did you use? I made a Prince of Tone with MA856 diodes and appreciated the mojo! I have some BA282 diodes for my Paragon that is in queue.

Anyone used Tayda’s glossy clear enclosure?

This one is the glossy clear. I think it looks better than the matte clear finish.

    Weber MiniMass headphone troubleshooting

@Alan W I agree with you. I was waiting until Weber has a decent chance to reply to the issue, but I was thinking of redoing most of the soldering. I have had the device for several years (past any warranty), so I do not think they are obligated to help.

That is my favorite delay. Great job with the pedal!

    Weber MiniMass headphone troubleshooting

I had posted earlier about my issues with the Weber Minimass headphone tap. In brief, I get a crackling sound with headphone use only. The attenuated amp sounds normal. After dealing with this issue for a few years, I decided to open the device. I found some immediate issues. For example...

    Univibe (Electrovibe) 🚨

I love the Univibe. I haven’t made all of the variants, but I plan to do so. I really prefer the small package of this version. With the big version, I found that I never used the extra speed switch, so the 125b package seemed ideal for the pedalboard. As for stack boards, this PCB is...
