    9v to 18v switch question

For reference, the switch works like this: The green, red, and blue are never in contact with each other. They just flip up and down from the center row. It's 3 separate switches, inside of one case. But they are separate from each other.

    Effects Layouts Widogast

I didn’t realize there is a pcb for this pedal, I always forget there is a store in addition to the perf board blog. Very cool.

    9v to 18v switch question

The 18v wire in the bottom row of your switch drawing never connects to anything.

I would do it like this, where green goes to 18V pads and blakc to 9V:

    Powersound Boost vs Powersound Overdrive

I should swap mine to a C pot. It will melt your face and launch you into next week, Marty McFly style.

    Powersound Boost vs Powersound Overdrive

I built the overdrive without the charge pump, but I don’t have the boost. I assumed I wanted the volume knob, and that the circuits were otherwise the same. I can’t remember if that is correct or not. I definitely recommend the overdrive. It’s fun on its own, in front of a muff, and behind...

    Powersound Boost vs Powersound Overdrive

You posted the topic 18 minutes ago. I assume you’ve now already built both and don’t need anymore advice.

    Build documentation updates

You have the option to A) purchase nearly all of ppcb pedals with an already drilled & painted enclosure, assembled and ready to play. Or you could B) use a scale, measure the board, and make a drill template. Ppcb gives us choices. Most guitar players choose A). I like B).

Help Me Wire Up a (one-switch) TRIPLE Pedal!

Well, we all wrote the same thing. So it must be correct.

Help Me Wire Up a (one-switch) TRIPLE Pedal!

I drew this on my phone with my finger, so it’s not pretty. Think of the boards like a single unit. Chain dwarf out to red in, red out to muzzle in. Then wire the switch normally: in to the dwarf and out from the muzzle.

    Dunwich DA-120 on a breadboard

It gets noisy. I did a check today. The Drive and Gain behave similarly, with the gain causing a bit more noise. For some perspective, my Mojito is very quiet. With drive and gain below 10 o’clock this DA120 is quiet. At noon it’s noticeable but acceptable (similar to a maxed Mojito)...

    Dunwich DA-120 on a breadboard

I know there are bass demos on youtube. For guitar, it works as expected. It sounds good on its own and it definitely stacks well. So far I've tried a Rat and a Muff in front of it with great results. I think I'm going to build a mini doom pedalboard with a compressor, parentheses, big muff...

    Buffer help?

I did a bunch of buffer reading (freestompboxes, muzique, and others) and this was my plan. They’re small, could probably fit a few of them on a single breadboard and swap stuff around. I just haven’t started it yet. OR, I could wait for you to do it and decide which one is The Best.

How to make a 2M7 resistor

In series, you add them to get the total. Do you have a 680k? With a 2M would make 2.68M

Paragon, 1 Channel no sound..... PLEASE HELP!

I'd be concerned about a solder bridge underneath the board on the footswitch pads. Or a melted switch due to a lot of heat being applied. I've learned to not completely fill the footswitch connections with solder for both of these reasons.

Just bought this 8 inch drill press

I have a similar size Craftsman. I had it on the corner of my workbench, held down by a big c-clamp for 10 years. Then I figured out that is fit onto a bench grinder stand. I bought 2 of these, one for my grinder and one for the drill. It's a good option IF the base dimensions of you drill...
