I’m getting set to build a Valhalla but had a question about IC 5. The board says it should be a L78L12 but the build docs show a LM2940CT-12. Would either one work? Also, would a LM2940CT-5.0 work in place of the -12? (If that’s the correct part)

I’m getting ready to build a King Midas. I don’t have any 8v2 diodes on hand. Would it work correctly with a 9v1?

I reflowed my 3PDT joints and the issue went away. Obviously that might not be the solution for every problem. But ya never know. Lol.

The duocast calls for 120u electrolytic capacitors, I don’t have that value. Would 100u work or would it be better to go higher in value?

I swapped the ICs, resistors are good, I haven’t gone through and double checked the joints yet. I checked them before boxing. I’m going to check that the pots are making some weird contact on the enclosure. Thanks!!

No, just LEDs poking out of the enclosure a tiny bit.
