Yes dry signal is there on bypass and when the chorus is “on” and I should be getting chorusing. This isn't true bypass and the output is in stereo, wierdly output b seems to have a little more output/gain. for the pots there is solder on the other side but ill add some more

SOLVED tayda UV printing issues lately

They definitely seem slammed at the moment, I suspect more folks than just myself dove into this hobby headfirst during lockdown and right about now have gotten to the point of doing larger enclosure orders. Anywho here’s a few of the black enclosures Here’s some black enclosures going back a...

Update… was able to get a reading and dial things in but no audible chorusing is happening so something is definitely still up

SOLVED Deadend FX Mangel Wurzel No chorusing (Ibanez RC99 Rotary Chorus clone)

howdy folks, I'm having issues with a build, it's the bbd chorus from deadend fx. Here's the build doc link for those interested - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OpvxwDCM6n1V6RT3K5LvCE-sm3y7ayhj/view?usp=sharing The issue is I'm getting no chorusing and no reading from the pad used to dial in...

just built one of these myself, great sounding pedal but I had a tough time fitting my dc jack's nut on

Simulcast with a transformer bypass switch

Howdy folks! This was a pedal I always wanted to try as I'm a fan of Ariel Posen, who I think used it and has a signature version of it. I was also quite curious to see if the transformer makes much of a difference in the circuit as I know a fair amount of folks have said it does not and I'd...

SOLVED tayda UV printing issues lately

This ain't my first rodeo with tayda printing on a black enclosure, but it's the first time they've refunded me for something and said it was a mistake on their end

SOLVED tayda UV printing issues lately

Well I should say tayda support got back to me and they said it was a mistake on their end, I wonder if I wasn't the only one with this sort of issue of late. I least I'm aware of the double white option now, but the amount of difference in 2 prints a week in a half apart had me scared of doing...

SOLVED tayda UV printing issues lately

The thing that’s so worrisome for me is that these enclosures were printed a week and half apart and look so different with the same print settings. The middle enclosure is from 2 ish weeks ago and was printed with the same settings as the outer enclosures I got yesterday. I made a few minor...

SOLVED tayda UV printing issues lately

That’s what I’m thinking, but I’ve been making a buncha pedals for a thing this upcoming weekend so it’s a stressful time to run into this issue for some enclosures that are already a mulligan on ones I screwed up the drill template on. That said it has gotten me to take a look at the other...

SOLVED tayda UV printing issues lately

Having to pay for a 'print white twice' option is a first for me as I've gotten black enclosures printed before and never had this issue as you can see in the example pic

SOLVED tayda UV printing issues lately

This isn't really circuit related, but has anybody had issues with Tayda's print quality lately? I just got some enclosures where the white layer printed as gray. From double checking the uv template it still seems to be using the specifc RDG_WHITE swatch they require so I'm left to assume it's...

    Jfet Boost - Low Volume

gotcha, my transistor tester works on jfets but I didn't have a way to test out the proper ones I got from mouser before unsuccessfully trying to solder them, I originally tried J201s and then the 5457, but I'll dive back into my stash and see if I can't find any closer to the specs you posted...

    Jfet Boost - Low Volume

Well I did track it down and replace the proper resistor to 49k9 as that did arrive in the mail earlier today, but yea doesn't seem to make a giant difference. I did pop in what I'm pretty sure is a good tl072. between that and the resistor change i feel like it's maybe a little louder but that...

    Jfet Boost - Low Volume

I did go with one that was slightly off, the build calls for a slightly unusual 49k9 and I think I may have used a 51k. unfortunately this pedal doesn't have build docs yet and I do not remember which resistor it was so I'd have to pop a few of them up to check.

    Jfet Boost - Low Volume

I tried a different opamp, but I’m still getting low volume output. No screeching tho.

    Jfet Boost - Low Volume

I forgot about the pedal's funky power section that lets it accept all sorts of different stuff, anywho I thought upping the voltage might increase the volume/headroom. Using AC works, but it definitely added some noise. Not much of a volume bump going to 18v tho

    Jfet Boost - Low Volume

Howdy folks, I got the boost working but I'm subbing out some of its key parts so I wouldn't be surprised if that's led to this potentially low output of the pedal. I'm currently using a pair of 2N5457's and a TL072 of sketchy origin. For anyone that's familiar with the 29 pedals jfet boost or...
