    DEMO runoffgroove Splitter-Blend

haha i can tell you actually watched the demo, cheers feral, got lucky there was a spare pick sitting there. glad to have inspired 🤘🏻 i wanna know what wire he’s using. looks really sleek, but im sure i’d make it look terrible and stripping it would drive me insane. especially if its that...

    DEMO runoffgroove Splitter-Blend

cheers man 🤙🏻 thanks! hell yeah it would - i would totally build another one with a PCB based solution. ayyy cheers 🤘🏻 yeah it’s all about that solid core. can be risky, just gotta be gentle i guess. yep this is vero. i don’t really do perf. perf layouts are generally tidier, but i’m just so...

    DEMO runoffgroove Splitter-Blend

runoffgroove describes this circuit as providing “two buffered parallel effects loops with a Blend control. Also, a phase polarity switch is included to allow phase matching of the effect loops. Possible uses are blending two sets of effects placed in the loops, a signal splitter, a simple...

    PedalPCB Angry Andy Plus/JHS AT+

this transistor is only serving as a mere input buffer (emitter follower) so i have doubts that BC549B v. BC549C would make any difference in this scenario. since this is basically a modified guv'nor, i would expect this pedal to kick arse. especially with the boost which is essentially a TS808...

Boogie Monster Build (build one trust me)

i haven't actually tried the og guvnor yet. i suspect it's quite similar, but it appears the riot may have a little more gain/aggression. not sure how well the TMB controls operate in the guv'nor, could be a bit more useful than the basic tone control in the riot. for me, the clipping options in...

Moonn - A Hint of Carnage (4ms noise swash)

heck yeah. I love how the board layouts match the chaos of these devices. tbh it'd be cool to hear some demos of them, cos i have no idea what '4ms noise swash' actually sounds like. nothing confounds me more than attempting to comprehend Moonn circuits. i feel like there needs to be some sort...

Boogie Monster Build (build one trust me)

honestly, yeah. i had high hopes, but it kinda just lacked the low end you'd expect from a 'dual rec inabox' could've been a JFET selection thing though. it was one of my first builds and i had zero clue what i was doing at the time. it's possible it could sound better with 2N5457s (generally...

    Source for M12.7 x 1.0 hex nuts?

https://www.taydaelectronics.com/hardware-tools/dc-power/dc-power-jack-2-1mm-enclosed-frame-with-switch-external.html so has anyone figured out what size these damn hex nuts actually are? [12.7 x 1.0] is all we have from the datasheet. thread pitch appears unspecified. i have the problem...

    Chop shop BJT transistor

shouldn't really make much difference as Q3 is mostly an output buffer the trimpot settings and JFET selection would have a greater impact IMO

    Nut Driver build

    hell yes.

    Nut Driver build

no worries 🤙 if you want to try some different clipping diodes, you could pull the x2 mosfets and drop in a clipping switch here: (sw1 & sw2 to the points circled in red, can just use a regular on/on DPDT)

    410 Fuzz Build

    yeah that would be rad!

    Nut Driver build

that's unfortunate. box looks great though! maybe could save it for something else. (would probably fit an UberDrive quite nicely) when this one first showed up in 'upcoming releases' i was pretty excited to see it and possibly breadboard the circuit. but, sadly, its just an 808 with a poor...

    A simple Relay Bypass

+1 im not understanding the problem requiring CMOS, that 555 relay circuits haven't been able to solve. IME they've demonstrated to work just fine with a 9V (& 12V) supply. i feel like i'm missing something here - it would appear that going for a more complicated circuit with a large 14pin IC...

    Red Muffin

the LED resistor is marked here as CLR (= current limiting resistor) also, you don't have to use 4K7. it depends on the type of LED and how bright you like it. IMO, 4K7 is too large (too dull) for diffused LEDs, for waterclear/superbright LEDs, i find around 22K works well.

    Where did I go wrong...

chop all of the legs, as @Aentons has suggested. then try and remove each of them one by one.
