That lil' yellow thing is (I believe) a 22nf capacitor. You sure that isn't already set up with a "treble bleed"?.. Some PRS I've seen have 180pf installed from factory..

Silicon insulated, pre-tinned solved all the problems I've ever suffered with hook-up wire.

I know its not great, but a "c" clamp or wood clamp could help out alot..

I believe you connect gate, source, and drain together. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly. With no schematic, it's at best a guess from me..

Leds have minute differences in turn on voltage. The one that is lowest, turns on first. Once an led starts conducting, any current more than the turn on current is facing essentially no resistance to ground. It cannot then turn on another led. Running a separate power wire and resistor is best...

I never went farther in looking for a better set. When I use ribbon cable now I just use a utility knife to separate the ribbon, then use a good pair of Klein's to strip them individually..

Guys, I gotta tell you, I bought the EXACT same strippers, the yellow Amazon set, and they were terrible! Incidentally, I got em for the same thing, stripping ribbon cable,and it would just maul the ends of the wires. The plastic jaws were warped slightly. And no amount of adjustment would work...
