Just for completeness... C20 became 470n and C21 becam 15n for MORE BASS! R30 became 1k2 for more treble. At low gain it becomes useful.

I did play with this way of doing for a bit. I like it but the other way takes the octave all the way out like a kill switch would. It suits my tastes better this way. But I have a superfuzz build I'm thinking of implementing this in.

Mmm kind of. It oscillate but isn't really tuneable like the ds1. The more octave thats dialed in the more it gets choked out and makes what you play very glitch, almost like a broken tremolo. And then less octave equals screaming noise but also reactes to playing.
