thanks @Erik S ! yeah, i was foolish enough to try them out, before realizing the figures above. (12.0mm isn't gonna fit on 12.7mm, or whatever figure it really is) so as mentioned above, M12.7 doesn't really come up or exist (it appears). perhaps the real size is an imperial measurement...
