Can I tent/combine any of these values to make 750R?

Nah I was questioning your shopping list of 1/4W and 1/8W - and typed it wrong as I’m full of some virus at the moment!

LED lights and charge pump issues... asking here as struggling

So asking here as it's full of people with knowledge.... and this is a problem I had 3 years ago and sold the pedal... then bought it back.... I have a pedal board. It sounds good. Power comes from a Cioks DC7 - with isolated supplies, included grounds isolated from one another. The DC7 plugs...

    Warwick Hellborg preamp transformer question

My favourite preamp ever is a Warwick Hellborg one - they made it for a short time and a silly price ... then blew them out cheap at Thomann and I hesitated and missed out... the thing is the magic was in the first preamp stage - I could turn the DI off and it would still sound great... From...

Who's down for some SMD layouts?

A pcb 1-2mm smaller wouldn’t be any harder for beginners

Who's down for some SMD layouts?

I could, and last time I almost did, till I decided to have a go myself, used PCB assembly for the SMD parts and shrunk it into a Gorva M45 - which is cool and that but I would have appreciated buying the PPCB pub rather than do that. If the default Pedal PCB pcb size was a few mm narrower it...

Who's down for some SMD layouts?

A few mm narrower and it could have gone in 1590b, just a few mm, or small fraction of an imperial inch if you prefer… just a tiny bit, wafer thin - and it could have fit! I believe in your layout skills- and I know it’s a very tight layout with a lot of large components… but I bet you can do it!

Explain like I'm 5, what is going on in this pedal to make is sound like this, please?

From the look of it it’s a high pass/low pass after fuzz - so the time sig bit you pointed too it’s a fuzz into a low pass - so chopping off the highs from the drive - I do that a lot as a bass player if not using a can sim as full range horns in my bass cab have more top end than guitar cabs …...

get a fuzz/distortion like recomended above. Build a PPCB Frequency Interchange Filter - then run it behind the fuzz/distortion.
