    Undulator Tremolo troubles

Isn't tremolo by definition an intermittent signal problem? hahahahaa... On the pin-headers, maybe this is a good opportunity to try the copper wire technique @temol posted:

DBA Germanium Filter Boneyard Mods PTP

Merci l'ami chat! The diagonals were accidental. I was just trying to open up space at the top of the pedal so I just tied all of the grounds together. But I agree! I've been embracing them in PTP.

Hahaha no. I haven't yet achieved Thorpyesque levels of girthitude

I guess that makes us all weird then, good bud. :geek:

DBA Germanium Filter Boneyard Mods PTP

***BASS ALERT!! BASS ALERT!!*** Tested initially with my Guild Polara into my little orange crush test amp. Tried with my tele... Sounded decent. But man, this sounds pretty effing dope on bass. [edit: tried it through my Sunn Sonaro and 2x15 cab--the treble content still sounds a bit harsh...

This Week on the Breadboard: Windmill (WIIO) cb mod

Hm! Always with the learnings. As always, much appreciated, thank you, CDB. I have to admit, I totally forgot about the JFET substitution, not that remembering would have changed my ignorance about the diode function and orientation.

DBA Germanium Filter Boneyard Mods PTP

Well, I'm not going to pretend like this one didn't give some trouble. Mostly because I let the first stage sprawl a bit, and it cramped everything else and made soldering through little windows not super fun. Forgot a resistor in the power section, melted a cap, banged up the array a bit with...

Sandford and Sonny BlueBeard Fuzz schematic?

A google lens search returned this: So, apparently designed by John Dyer Baizley from Baroness, and sold by Sonny, the dude who made the pedals, so I guess, yes, official.

This Week on the Breadboard: Windmill (WIIO) cb mod

I hear that--but you are talking about the redundancy of diodes in the original design? Did the rerouting of R1 to ground require D1 be removed for the circuit to function properly, then?

This Week on the Breadboard: Windmill (WIIO) cb mod

It might have to do with the feedback loop that CDB attenuated in his mods, but I agree that if it's a different version, you have to see the schematic to hazard a guess.

You can always take a gander here as well

This Week on the Breadboard: The LPD Sixty8 (with some mods)

Good thing I have a deep list of Chuck D Bones-touched circuits to breadboard and PTP before I ever get to this one. I don't know if there's a functional relation, but the loops off the IC remind me of the Corroder/Rust Drive.

Is this a solder bridge I see before me? middle-left lane, under the A10k pot.

    Bluebeard and Blend?

According to the GGG schematic, it's 100n. If you go to the other thread, feral feline did a solid and outlined the changes from a green Russian. There are a couple other changes as well.

    Bluebeard and Blend?

Yep, there's a whole discussion Here. Still in breadboard form for me as I still have to retest and try some stuff.

SOLVED AionFX Andromeda Deluxe (Nordland ODR-C) - Build Differences

That is super weird. I've never had that experience, and I'm not sure IPA would be the culprit since it evaporates within a couple of seconds. In future, the best thing to do after a thorough visual inspection and component check is probably an audio probe--you can find out where the gating...

Is there a 'better' MOAB-style pedal out these days?

Dang it! I was just about to post about the Marshall pedals. Many demos.

    Park and Ride build

Looks like your TL074 is in the wrong way. If there's only a dot, use the dot (pin 1) to orient ICs; if there's a notch, the notch takes priority. The sockets are agnostic to the plastic they're encased in, it's the pin connection that matters. I use 32-pin in-line snappable sockets.

I think there is currently questing around this.

Help with getting into home recording - what do I need?

I really like this. 1 main stereo mic input and 4 open XLR/ts inputs, expandable to 6. So, it's kind of like a very portable 4-6 track recorder/mixer. I bought it for field recordings and sound collage. The 32 bit float allows recording very quiet sounds and quite loud sounds without needing...
