Anybody have any thoughts? I got a shipment in from BLMS, so now have the proper pots in. The pedal works perfectly except for not having any appreciable gain on the green side.

If you look below LED1 from the solder side of the board, it looks like there is a small flake of wire between two of the pads.

2 joints below the LED there appears to be a short.

Update, I could never figure it out. Built another and it's perfect. We will call this one solved.

Are the back of the pots insulated in any way? They can short against your solder joints.

I think you will have better luck boxing it with the footswitch in the proper orientation. I would fix that before doing anything else, especially since it seems likely to be a switching issue.

I don't have any. I could get some tomorrow at my local electronics shop, but I still have a few beers left and was hoping to finish it tonight. I have all the usual suspects, 4148, 4001, 5817, 4742. Would any of those be appropriate substitutions? Thanks in advance.
