@MattG Off subject but Did you ever try the Soma (SS-3) from Aion? I’ve never tried the CC-1/GC-1 but have the Soma and Sigma (ST-2) which is based on the old Colorsound Overdriver. I found it to be way to clean but did like the Soma although the tone controls are really interactive.

Maybe I’ve just been fortunate. I have one of the long plate ECC803S in V4 of my deluxe and it still hasn’t gone micro. I believe that tube and the Sovtek 12ax7lps are probably my two favorite new production tubes. Guess I just like long plates.

Did nobody else on here ever buy and take apart those Snarling Dogs pedals or wahd back in the day? I wanna say they were all slightly tweaked versions of the same cmos circuit and man those pedals were loud.

I had exactly 2 of them from a Keeley BD-2 mod a while back that I never did. Think that’s where there from. Not sure if they’ll help any but figured if there’s a pedal I’d wanna attempt to reduce noice on it’d be a fuzz!
