    Cannon Fodder MKII Build Doc

Any idea when the build doc and drill template might be posted on the page for the PCB?

SOLVED AION Ceres losing volume (missing part)

I know. Posting the photo made me look at the board more closely.

SOLVED AION Ceres losing volume (missing part)

    FIXED IT. MISSING CAPACITOR.

    tayda shipping

Buying anything other than parts from the, gets expensive. There are enclosure sellers in the USA that are less expensive.

SOLVED AION Ceres losing volume (missing part)

I built the Ceres and although it outputs sound and seems to sound like it should, the volume is half of the unmodified signal. I traced the. Signal and it appears the signal drops in strength around Q4 or Q5. (I attached the build .pdf file with schematic). I have been working through...

Basic Workflow Tips for Building a PedalPCB

And, I would never drill an enclosure until I was sure it worked AND I actually liked the effect. I've had many over the years where I thought It not worth drilling an new box for.

Basic Workflow Tips for Building a PedalPCB

The most consistent problem I used to have was using ribbon wire to daughter boards. If it’s a tight fit or becomes non-working when boxed several iterations of inserting and removing breaks off the ribbon wires.

    Gale Pedal Problem

Once I wired in the daughter board and switched 386s again it worked fine. Thanks for the help and fast replies. BD

    Gale Pedal Problem

Yes. 4 and 8 are to ground. I did not check i5 and 7 are shorted. I tried 3 different ICs in that spot but I'll recheck the pins

    Gale Pedal Problem

l built one also but have no output. Everything seems fine until I trace to the LM386. The inputs have sufficient volume (pin 3) but the outputs, pins 7 and 5 have essentially no volume. I confirmed all the solder connections to the socket conduct to all IC pins. Voltage into pin 6 is 9.1 volts...

    NSL-32 Vactrol installation

I wanted to tag along on this thread. The info on the Vactrol is quite useful. I built one also but have no output. Everything seems fine until I trace to the LM386. The inputs have sufficient volume (pin 3) but the outputs, pins 7 and 5 have essentially no volume. I confirmed all the...

    Backfeeder Layout

Thanks everyone! I was able to find a board layout. It had gotten misplaced on my work bench. I'm sure I've got a short or bad solder joint somewhere. The only one I had found was the one on page 4 of the build doc. My mistake.

    Backfeeder Layout

I need to troubleshoot a backfeeder but the illustrated board layout just labels the ICs by type (TL072) and not by number: IC1, IC2. This makes it almost impossible to trace the schematic on the actual board. Am I missing something obvious? This is an annoying thing about all the documents.
