So I finally got my flintlock flanger up and running and would like to start calibrating, but it seems like my multimeter doesn't exceed 50hz without overloading and not showing anything. Is there a particular DMM you're using that you could recommend for this?
Lol, might be the cause of some of the problems you're encountering. I'm going to try and get mine finished up this weekend. Hopefully without any snags along the way.
You got an awful lot of stuff on that boards. If I remember correctly the freeze didn't require that much according to the parts build. That and the fog were pretty close in build specs. Unless I missed something on my end 😅
Yeah I ended up getting a reply back from Keefe, and he mentioned that if they were in the wrong way I might be getting wonky readings which was the case. Luckily I socketed everything. Hopefully calibration isn't to crazy. I've been going over the moosropotomus method, seems pretty straight...
I've been wondering if anyone has assembled one of these from the group buy. Been getting all the parts I needed. You have any pictures of the board assembled? I'm curious to see the layout.
Hey guys, got it up and running. Didn't realize I had a few ICs in backwards. Completely went over my head. Now I need to figure out how to tune it in.
Right on, I can check this and make sure it's seated properly. But from what I noticed, it was in there good. Should I re test this with the 7815Linstalled as well?
Purchased the LT1054 from stompboxparts, and the 7815L was taken out while testing. As far as I know all diodes are installed correctly according to the build doc, and from what I've seen they're installed the same as everyone else's builds.
Can you explain this further? 😅
"Your pin 6 Vref...
Just tested this out, getting nothing at the 15v and ground pads after removing all ICs. But when I test each leg at the ground and LT1054 I get the current readings.
1. 2.29
2. 5.24
3. 0.00
4. 0.00
5. 0.00
6. 2.55
7. 1.43
8. 9.42
I purchased 2 PCBs. Same issue. Everything measured and installed correctly on the second build, especially after the fail on the first one. I have no idea what to do from here. I've tested all my LT1054 chips upon socketing them and both come back with the same reading. I don't get 15v at the...
Damn I just checked the colors and think you're right. Good eye. Must've mixed those up. I'll swap those out tomorrow and see if that fixes it. Thanks!
I've burnt out 3 so far. Not sure how this keeps happening. I have no bridged joints. I get a signal when engaged and the pedal works, but it keeps burning out my LEDs. I've since taken it out till I can get it resolved.
I think I'm looking to far into this, or I'm just confusing myself at this point. I've got this board all finished and wanted to wire it up with the 3PDT I got from guitarpcb. Is there anyone who could show me the correct way to wire this? I've got the in and outs on the board, as well as the...
That's a nice little space there, almost reminds me of my own. Also sorry to inquire here to Bean, but any idea when the shop will be updated. Wanted to snag a total recall, and an aquababy but wanted to wait till they were both in stock to grab.
