Is this better than panning between two different value caps?

    Changing up tubes

If you are looking to tame it just a bit, JJ makes an "EL844" tube that knocks it down 25%. I have run these in my AC30 for years and they sound great. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/JJEL844--jj-el844-power-tube-single

Solder won't flow nicely on some PCBs

I have this problem sometimes too, usually when I first start soldering. Once the board warms up a bit the problem goes away.

Maximum Drive (Maxon OD-01 The Driver)

Cool, I didn't realize there was a board available for this. I've had a few in the 01 series. This is one of the few I kept. It sounds really good to me. Interestingly, I kept the JD-01 Jet Driver which is a Muff variant, completely different than the newer TS based JD9 Jet Driver. There were...

    Tube Screamer Schematic Question

I'm not sure but I think it depends on if the circuit is using a charge pump to achieve 18 volts. If so, there would be +9v and -9v and therefore 0v ground would be the middle of the range, like 4.5v vref in a regual 9v circuit.

Pedal builders REACT to this guy finally cracking the Spirit In The Sky fuzz

I think he is playing it in the wrong position too high up on the fretboard. You got to play it down low in open A with as many open strings as possible to get it to fart out properly.

Pedal builders REACT to this guy finally cracking the Spirit In The Sky fuzz

The comment in that thread about it running on 1.5v battery made me curious. The song came out in '69, so if some guy the other guitarist knew, wired a diy circuit into the tele, it would have come from an earlier source. Here is a very similar 3 transistor version from a different magazine...

Exactly. Everything they are doing is not about running the government but destroying it. It has been stated time and time again.
