    Carmine body control mod

Ive seen some talk of this with a body control. Im assuming they are just replacing the tone pot with the muzique two knob bmp tone stack. Anyone know any different ?

    Fuzz face trimpot doing nothing

Take a look at the sunflower fuzz schematic. You can sub a 10k trim for the trim and pot if you dont want the bias pot and leave out the input trim if you like.

Could a bad filter cap cause vref to be off?

Nevermind vref is fine with no chip in

Could a bad filter cap cause vref to be off?

Ive got this old pedal that isnt working vref is measuring 6.4. Theres 9.3 coming into into the voltage divider continuity with ground on the other side. Resistors are in circuit and settle around 9k3. Its kind of an expensive pedal so i dont want to willy nilly desolder stuff. Just not...

    Desolders

I use my hot air station for pots and switches works great. A little care is needed with switches as you can overheat them easily. But you kind of figure it out after you do that once.

    Nein

Man i just finished my board. Tried it before boxing. This thing is fucking awesome. “Testing” was at least an hour. I might have a new favorite pedal. And i just used sine smd j201’s no measuring etc. cant really imagine it sounding any better.

Been a staple of mine for many years. Place i used to bartend keeps cases of squirt on hand now. Goes great with everything 😂. After bartending for 10 ish years i have no desire to get complicated with an after dinner cocktail. Single malt neat if im feeling fancy, whiskey with a mixer...

    Tayda packing and shipping

I ordered several powder coated enclosures and some other stuff july 2nd. It shipped on the 17th. I ordered a shit ton of enclosures on like august 1st (preparing) and noticed a couple things. Some of the matte colors suggested matte sand for better turn around times and as a long term...

    Promethium loses signal around r22

i think youve got e and b switched there. The resistors all look right, i think but im not positive (not positive the calculator i used works the same for pnp) but that the collector voltage is low if it does. If it was my build id reflow every solder joint in the vicinity of q3.

    Help with general tso’s

Sounds like you probably have some cold solder joints/solder bridges going on. I’d first look at cleaning up the solder joints. Any loose wire hanging out etc. The leds arent supposed to stay on, they turn on when enough voltage (signal) hits them to turn them on.

    FERAL's imPERFect LAYOUTS

I wonder if there would be any disadvantage to sending the signal straight to send before any part of the circuit. Id like to use it with fuzz faces. I suppose you could switch if you want the clean buffered or not before the send easily enough…

    delay pcb recommendation

Ill 2nd or 3rd the seabed or magnetron. Rock/metal id donthe seabed, i dont imagine you’ll have a lot of use for the modulated delay. Seabed cheaper, far fewer parts, easier build.

Son of Ben - Dual-Ganged Pot

The 2m b type is available from Tayda and stompbox parts. If you go that route dont forget to solder the pads together. Cheaper than a dual gang as well.
