Awesome stuff! I love those colour combinations. I agree with 1590A, I loathe building those, the tolerances are too tight! I definitely recommend the Texel, it is my favourite boost by far. Quiet and goes with everything!

Thanks for those interesting tidbits. I had assumed that because the audio was going to ground that I didn't need to care about it so much and I could prioritise the shortest traces on the audio path going through to out. I still have some thicker books to read on this subject. :D

From the sounds of it, the mids is useful (though it'd be useful to use that 6th position for the LED). Bypassing it is just R10/TR1 to Q4, right? C3 is tantalum, does that matter? I thought it wasn't audio signal being passed forward, rather just dumped to ground?

Of course, you do you, but I like to manually route because I have an understanding of what components should be grouped together and where the audio path runs. I try to group logical components together (ie. all the power section, or all of a single gain stage) and give the audio path priority...

I just rolled my own. It was easier in the end.

I love to see the evolution, great stuff. What happened to the "IN GND SW OUT" standard? Then it becomes a drop-in replacement for most PCBs out there. Plus, you can use pin headers to attach which is 10x simpler (and 10x more annoying to de-solder). If you're looking for further...

Nice. The base pedal is pretty nice, so eager to hear this. I would be surprised if the GH model isn't much more than a lower gain variant.

It's nice to standardise the IO if you ever want to share the board with others.
