FWIW the MMBT5089 is the SMD equivalent and readily available (and cheap).

If it wants a single opamp then the dual opamp will be the problem. Different pinout. It’d be possible to use the dual with some basic knowledge there, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a permanent solution.
