Other than the text when glowing I’m really happy with this one.

1985 - Year of the Rat

A clean build as always! I love these sheet metal enclosures you've been using, are they custom for you?

Design PCB to fit an enclosure and drill template holes

I use EasyEDA and for mine I just put the pot footprint at the coordinates given for the predrilled pedalpcb enclosure I want to use from Tayda or whatever my custom drill set up is. In my case the pads are offset the appropriate distance from the footprints center point, but if your footprint...

    Even more new Tayda colors!

I had to get a glow in the dark one on order, it actually inspired some artwork for a PCB i designed but never found a home because it was too similar to other things in my line up, but now that I've discontinued some things it has a home and now a theme. I'll post up some pics when I get it.

    Best way to desolder pots?

I actually do this a similar, but opposite way, i put the vice grips on the pot(protector) and then I put a good amount of solder on the legs and then rest my iron across all 3 legs and then lift and the pot stays with the vice grips (and falls over unless secured) and the board comes with me.

Ok what is you favorite and least favorite part of building pedals?

favorite is designing for sure, least favorite is probably wiring the PCB in

Today on the Breadboard: The Power Face

That's awesome. What is WW on VR1? I don't know enough about tube circuits to know if this is an april fools day prank but this looks super interesting. :ROFLMAO:

SOLVED Need a second set of eyes (Duo-Phase)

I read somewhere to clip off the plastic and make it desoldering one pad 8 times instead of 8 pads one time if you can.

    DEMO 3 n 1 overdrive I've been building.

Thanks! I try to do pretty simple "clean" graphics for most of my stuff, that's usually my preference, but some of the builds I see here with great graphics work always make me want to try new stuff.

Thanks guys! I've seen your builds so your kind words mean even more haha.

    DEMO 3 n 1 overdrive I've been building.

Hey guys, I wanted to share another project I've been working on. This PCB I designed is for building a klon centaur, bluesbreaker and ts-10 3n1 with separate jacks to change order or use them with other pedals between if desired, or klon>bluesbreaker>ts-10 if no jacks are inserted. I took some...

    "Cicada" - 1W tube amp

Super interesting project as always. I have been wanting to do more with tubes, but the transformer cost always was a lot for a single project, it's more fun to do 10 cheaper projects, or thats what I tell myself. I've looked at these transformers in the past...

DEMO A fun custom build Kliche

Thanks everyone, I hope to share my next project as well if I remember to take pictures haha. It’s not as cool as this one but also a fun one.

DEMO A fun custom build Kliche

Hey guys, I haven't been as active online recently, but I build this pedal for a custom request that I'm pretty stoked about. It's just a kliche built to normal kliche specs, but we had some fun with the graphics and LEDs. I ended up using the footswitch LED rings under the huge 32mm knobs...

    CHIPS FOR CAESAR CHORUS

I get mine from stompbox parts when I order other things, I needed 20k W taper pots so I just added two V3207 and some germanium diodes to my order while I was at it. They've always worked great for me.

    Awful Waffle sounds fizzy

What op amp did you go with? I found the op amp used can make a bit of a difference. I think I settled on AD711 for mine, but I just happened to have one. I think the TL071 was smoother than the UA741 I had if I remember correctly.

Sushi Box Particle Accelerator - PCB Design Challenge #1 Prize

I want to start off by saying thanks to @temol for putting the contest together and @vigilante398 for the awesome kit I built here. I had a blast putting this one together. It was a surprisingly straightforward build. The only parts I had to double check with the build doc on were the assembly...

Pre-drilled enclosures for Cepheid Chorus and XC Phaser?

Some pedals have special layouts that don't fit the standard layouts, and for those there is a sub-forum https://forum.pedalpcb.com/forums/drilltemplates/ https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/pedalpcb-xc-phase-125b.10133/ Just have to find or ask for a template and then purchase the tayda drill...

DEMO Seabed Delay #2 (w/Modulation) - Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay

The way it's wired, as you turn it to the right there is decreasing resistance right? Maybe there is a minimum to keep it happy. If you don't like having that as an option and feel like taking it apart you could measure right where the circuit starts to drop out on the pot and then place an...
