Are you using kapton tape to insulate the pots?

Snap them apart, put the 90° pins in the PCB and solder them, then add the little adapters to the pins

Those are for the ground lugs on your input and output jacks

Have you looked at the dip switch settings info from the analogman site?

Bummer that you didn't dig it. This is the next pedal in my queue. I built the madbean fritter a couple years ago and really liked the sound but didn't like the 1590a so it went. Still looks great despite the trash can knobs

Generally those little flags represent connections. So that C2 flag looks like it connects to the other one directly north of it on the schematic where it says GAINSW_A being one side of a toggle for something or other

Alright I have a stupid question. I bought a hot plate forever ago and haven't used it cuz I haven't built fuckall lately. Once you put the solder paste and component(s) on and they do their thing on the hot plate, how do you take the hot PCB off? Or are you turning it off and waiting for it to...
