    EQD Silos Expression Pedal

Bmy guess is the trs ex jack is switching. You could toggle it between two settings via footswitch but I don't think you could toggle between "new circuit" and pedal settings because the switching jack overrides the pedal

    Deluxe MM board?

Take a look at the madbean anamorph as well. Brian/bean did a great job with this amalgamation of analog delay circuits. Here's @Guardians of the analog 's excellent demo:

Darlington transistors exist...do Sziklai pair transistors exist?

No. To be a viable product, i.e. used outside the pedal world, the transistors should be matched. Though it's probably possible to manufacture, there's really no demand. The biggest use case was class AB audio output, where you need the transistors separate for heat sinking. For small signals...

    Deluxe MM board?

This is the way. Also, way fewer troubleshooting threads on the skoolie.(No dis to scruffie. Just a lot of struggles)

    legit BB opa2134 ?

No idea just looking at an bay photo. They don't look obviously fake, but they do look more expensive than mouser.

    Interest: 125B power supply?

Thise $30 Amazon specials aren't bad for the money, especially for analog pedals.

    Small 1uF electrolytics

Blooze, I wonder if your caps fell under the "magic foil" EOL nichicons. Their supplier of foil used in some cap lines discontinued production of a specific foil. This led to the cancelation/EOL of multiple nichicon SKUs including the fine gold elcaps and QYX films as well as probably others.

Pedal builders REACT to this guy finally cracking the Spirit In The Sky fuzz

For a non-adjustable buck, just use an LDO and build it per the datasheet example. Like the 5v line in the FV1 circuits.

Pedal builders REACT to this guy finally cracking the Spirit In The Sky fuzz

Maybe it was another forum, or I just can't find it There's this thread. https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/dying-battery-simulator-variable-voltage-pedal-aka-jhs-volture.16811/ Maybe it was a debate about the approach of the JHS volture vs a starve pot. Idk. 3+ years ago...

Somewhete there's a whole thread from a while back on the "correct" way. Though the starve pot works fine, I wouldnt go that route to emulate an AA battery.

Nice Harmony H-306A! I'd be curious what mods were (un)done that required 3 holes in the back panel.

Remember you're not just dividing voltage, also current. So you'll consume a lot more juice, most of which running through that one resistor. Better off with a regulator, maybe even just a diode.

    Skeptical schematic - Q2 irrelevant?

I think that config adds bias stability so long as IDss are matched between the fets. Since the lower fet is on, but not amplifying, it maintains a constant current. Since it's matched to the first jfet, IDss is the same and it holds the upper jfet at a constant bias current.

Origin story of the bag of dicks There were variations of the JBT built into pedal steels to emulate string swells and such. IIRC, one did use a germ for the PNP. Those are what I was referencing.

SOLVED Distortion 250 Gain Issue - SOLVED

They are backwards but it wouldn't matter. They're symmetric anyway. Functionally equivalent, just reversed in position. Those solder joints look cold. Your iron may not be hot enough. Solder should flow freely through the pad and not blob up. Check the datasheet for your solder for recommended...

Pedal builders REACT to this guy finally cracking the Spirit In The Sky fuzz

It was in his guitar? Yeah. It's a Boss Tone. There were versions of the boss tone in some pedal steels. Some tech probably ripped one from one and put it in his tele. boss tone with a dieing battery=KMA fuzzly bear. Plus, Greenbaum moved to LA in 65 and Jordan Electronics was just down the road...

Fuzzy Fox Loud static when engaged [Moved to Troubleshooting]

Have you boxed it? Loud static could just be noise that's being picked up. I'm assuming by loud static, your mean a persistent noise, not a Burst, but the pedal works otherwise.
