SOLVED Mini Heterodyne Receiver Never Silent

Thanks, this is the mini version so I think the ICs are numbered differently. I've ordered a replacement 4069 and will try that first

SOLVED Mini Heterodyne Receiver Never Silent

I'm cool with the divebomb effect, did you manage to solve the continuous noise issue?

SOLVED Mini Heterodyne Receiver Never Silent

It is disconnected for troubleshooting. It is cased with a Deflector reverb after it on a separate footswitch, which is working fine. The output of the Heterodyne on the foot switch goes into the input of the Deflector on the other footswitch. That all works as expected, just that pesky wall of...

SOLVED Mini Heterodyne Receiver Never Silent

My Mini Heterodyne has a constant sound when engaged even without an input signal, it sounds like it won't gate. All the functions appear to be working correctly, if *very* loudly. This continuos noise was mentioned in an older post...

Adding an LFO to a PT2399 Delay

Hey, thank you @coltonius for such a detailed breakdown. However this particular issue has been driving me nuts for days and I've tried many posted solutions without success. SOLVED Cyborg Drive Filter Not Doing Much

Thanks for replying :) I used a 2N3906 as per the build doc and replaced it to be sure (and switched orientation). I'm sure the clipping LEDs are correctly orientated, they glow when I strum. I also built the same board twice with the same results, but maybe made the same mistake twice, ha ha...

SOLVED Cyborg Drive Filter Not Doing Much

So, I had two boards and built the second to see if that was any different. It is the same, very minimal effects from the tone/filter. The schematic of the filter section is 1:1 with the Ibanez WH10 wah - so the tone should have a gnarly sweep. Anyone built this and found the same?

SOLVED Cyborg Drive Filter Not Doing Much

Checked through the joints and parts, cleaned flux, but the filter/tone control is having very little effect on the sound. I can hear it filtering the high frequencies in the background noise but certainly not cocked-wah territory. Any known issues with this, or is it just very subtle? Readings...
