Curious Chuck, do you then go back and build the board up as you've breadboarded it? Or is this more of a "let's see what this sounds like" and then tear it up once you've beat it up enough?

Let me dig thru my notes and get to my rig this weekend. I'm using the Blackstar midi controller (I suspect its about the same as the HB) on my Amped 2. I use it's six switches to select the 3 channels, turn on/off the tuner, modulation, and boost. I'll get back to you.

In old EHX boxes it's hard to tell dodgy repairs from the original factory wiring :) although painters/duct tape is a bit of a giveaway. Would be cool to get this old beast up and running again.

Worth looking in to the adjustable clock board too. Opens up some interesting alternatives (reference the Deflector reverb).

I think I have the generic crap and it's worked fine. I use the whole blob and works well for holding switches in position and assorted things like that. I've had the same blob for about 10 years or so.

If it will power up check all your voltages. I've worked on a couple and one of them had a trashed bridge rectifier. Top left of your power supply photo and marked DB101 on the schematic. Should be DC heaters on this one as well.

Ditto. I'm such a sucker for a good vibe. I did pick up the TS50 preamp (I own a real TS25) and the Acoustic 360 preamp though. The TS25 is one of my fave amps because nothing else sounds like it. Geez that's a clean build.

The Boss-style "check" light is a classy touch.
