Project thread - designing and building pedals with a band for charity

I’m down to 3 left and that’ll make 25 total now. I had a few extra made to give to the band. Plus, the new DC current meter shows they only use up 9mA, which I guess is pretty cool! Went and saw them up in Chicago Saturday night and the show was awesome. Such a great vibe.

Project thread - designing and building pedals with a band for charity

Sent out 4 orders today. So far it’s been a pretty successful project. If I can sell these last 5, we should have about $1,500 to donate!

Three Skeptical Buffers, three switches popping

If it’s just for you, it’ll be ok with just three screws really. Otherwise there’s some good ideas here for sure- depends what you have on hand.

    Led orientation

Horrible sketch, but you get the idea. Don’t always count on the leads being correct, especially if you trim them first. The flat side of the LED itself is the cathode or ‘K’, and K is make of straight lines. It also goes in the square pad. The Anode side of the bulb ‘a’ is round and goes in...

    SOLVED Glory Hole Switch Pop

This is what I did that seemed to take care of it. It definitely has to do with the LED in the circuit though. Take it out and it went away. Post in thread 'Switch popping and noise galore with Bootleg and Glory Hole'...

Power Supply recommendations? (Anything inexpensive and reliable?)

Exactly. Especially after investing thousands of dollars in pedals or parts, why cheap out on the PS that they all plug in to?
