    Mic pre FX loop

Here is Rev 2 of my looper box. This includes a THAT mic pre in front. Upon first firing this didn't work but after digging more on the diyaudio forum I found someone doing the same project as this one, and doing it in an easier way so I may make my way to a rev 3 with more features

regarding powering multiple parts of a circuit

Well, I guess I messed this one up. I'm wondering if I just needed to connect this V- pin to my ground? I left it unconnected without thinking about it. I used the Mean Well DPBW06G-15 attempting to convert +48V to +/-15V: datasheet Edit: this fixed it

I have one more question, does the "Common" pin on a device like this typically mean it connects to Ground? datasheet

regarding powering multiple parts of a circuit

So, I've built a THAT Mic Pre for which I have a 48V power adaptor. I'd like to make a new box that includes this preamp, then takes that signal straight into a balanced line receiver, sends it to a pedal circuit at 9 or 12V, then goes back to a balanced line driver and sends it to an XLR out...

Simply because I didn't know these existed. Thanks!

regarding powering multiple parts of a circuit

As an ongoing work on my XLR looper, I'd like to include a preamp inside which requires +48V power. Let's say the rest of the circuit requires +/- 12V, and I'd also like to include a pedal effect which would take +12V. Is the diagram I've drawn below feasible? Is 48 to 12 V too much of a...

    XLR looper box

Here is my schematic, I will PM anyone that wants a Google Drive link to my gerber zip file that I had fabricated at JLC (I did increase the mounting hole size). Note: I don't technically know what I'm doing, I stole most of this from the DIYRE Color format schematic. I have done some test...

    XLR looper box

OK I will get this to you or post a link later today. If I don't get it today remind me. The one mistake I made on this was making the pcb mounting holes too small. I had to drill them slightly larger with a drill bit. If I can figure out the correct size for them I will before I send this

    Antithesis Fuzz homebrew

I've never played a harmonic percolator before. This thing rips. I made the silicon version with LED clippers and just basic 3904 and 3906 transistors. Gonna work on a faceplate here soon

    DC jack help

I've invested in a project that called for this DC jack which is now discontinued: Jack 1 I've researched replacements and it appears this one has the same dimensions and layout: Jack 2 My question is, the schematics are showing a slightly different pin numbering and I can't figure out if...

Nice job figuring that out. How did you modify the bass pot? Does it still connect to the PCB?
