Pedal builders REACT to this guy finally cracking the Spirit In The Sky fuzz

You did indeed... maybe it uses a 1N4001 for polarity protection? I hear that works wonders for a Bluesbreaker. (I'm kidding, it has no polarity protection)

Goop, spray paint, hot glue, and sanded parts.... this whole thread is starting to feel like a setup. :cautious:

You're not suggesting it's a completely original new circuit? I'll see your body filler and raise you one piece of cork and some hot glue. Honestly, at this point I feel like I might have gotten some sort of prototype or demo unit... This is just not built like the rest of their pedals.

Adventures in UV Printing - Eufymake E1

There was nothing formal about that interaction. I've only been shown paperwork once, and that ended with "and by the way we don't even want you to mention our name on social media"... So, it was most definitely not XVEZ.

Adventures in UV Printing - Eufymake E1

So jealous, no one cool has ever demanded I quit.... It's always folks who build stupid buffers and Tube Screamer clones.... For gods sake there's a "Blender" inspired project that is literally named "The Blender" and no one bats an eye... but let me clone a clone of a clone and everyone...

    What's on the workbench?

All goop jokes aside, the pedal does sound fantastic, and all of his other non-gooped builds look pretty dang good.

I was genuinely caught off guard by the goop, I must admit. The guys stripboard builds look fantastic, so I really didn't expect... that.

MY KINGDOM FOR A 10uF 25V CAPACITOR! (three actually)

You can substitute C5 in the Cataclysm with something higher, 22uF - 100uF. For the Viceroy, you could double up two 4.7uFs in parallel to get 9.4uF, or two 22uF in series to get 11uF, both would be close enough. They don't really have to be 25V unless you're going to power it at 18V.

MY KINGDOM FOR A 10uF 25V CAPACITOR! (three actually)

What are you building? Depending on where they are (if they're in a charge pump circuit) you might can substitute them with the nearest value you have.

    What's on the workbench?

And a little on the footswitch for good measure. (I know, I know, it's supposed to be relic'd)

Not amused. Spray paint and goop? This was a really nice looking pedal otherwise. So disappointed in that decision.... This is going to take tens of minutes to undo....
