At the risk of a life ban I’m going as this question. Has anyone bought any Ge transistors from AliExpress ??? I’m just looking at 2N1308s for around $2 a pop. I’m tempted to just buy a couple to test ! What do you all think ?

Hey all, I know that the difference between an 808 an 9 is only a couple of differences in resistors but what about a 10 and can it be built on the available TS808/9 boards. Don’t know if my googlin is off but I just can’t find much information at all.

Having some issues with TRS jacks to allow the use of a battery. With my normal ts guitar lead I’m getting complete silence when the lead is plugged all the way in. If I pop it out just a touch, bingo it works. I tried it with a ts pancake patch cable and get sound pass through. Anyone any...

So I’ve made the transition to using water slides. It’s been a bit of trial and error but I think I’m getting there. It can be frustrating at times, making sure it’s lined up etc and a few have had to be peeled off ….. but ….

Hey all , is there a way to add a sag control to a basic fuzz face. I’m breaking out the bias but am just wondering if the other is possible. Thanks in advance.

Throb knob sounds so wrong 😂 I did use it but if I’m entirely honest it doesn’t seem to do a great deal. I did an order switch to flick the pedal from first in line to last with the lunar being 2nd and pb 1st.

Hey there, does it require any alteration to the PCB to implement these mods or is it all value swaps/ don’t populate the diodes etc ?

I recently packeged up a depths, lunar and power boost !!!! Gilmour boxes certainly rock.
