    ADHD Wiring

So, I don't have that other daughter board, so I would just use the 4 pads (IN/GND/SW/OUT)?? The v.2 has 7 pads to hook up to the 3DPT. So, you're saying use all 6 pads at the bottom for True Bypass and just ignore the EB?? If so, I'm not sure of the wiring for 6 pads! Can you please...

    ADHD Wiring

I have the latest board - ADHD Overdrive Any idea when the build doc will be released or is there a preliminary I can use? Need the drill template and understand how to wire up with the additional pads and others for "EB"?!?? Just waiting this stuff so I can finish up building. Thanks in advance.

    XC Phase (Phase 90) Issues

Ok guys. I finally had the time to delve into this...and I have a solution!! The problem was not the switch...it was not the use of a tube amp...it was what I was thinking and had to do with the True Bypass scheme!! Attached is an illustration I put together. The first one is the normal way...

    XC Phase (Phase 90) Issues

Yeah, not the case here. I'm running the pedal directly into a solid state Marshall amp!

    XC Phase (Phase 90) Issues

I looked at the board today. I reviewed the solder joints and found a couple not to my liking, so took care of them and reflowed the entire board. I really don't like that trimmer, soo going to wait until I get the new Bourns-type from Tayda, then see if any change. If not, I'll try changing...

    XC Phase (Phase 90) Issues

Aww...Mammoth. Miss them. Great company and used to use them all the time. Shame they went under. Well, I see you used Tantalum up on top and a Bourns trimmer! I dont see much of a difference in the True Bypass or grounds. I'll check on "popping" when I turn the switches when I get a...

    XC Phase (Phase 90) Issues

Thanks guys. I'm reading and listening. Doesn't sound like it should be popping! So, I'll have to dig in. I don't want any issues with any of my builds, so use all virgin NEW components, previously Mouser, I now use Tayda exclusively unless I have a hard time getting a part and have to go...

    XC Phase (Phase 90) Issues

Here is a pic of the PedalPCB XD Phase build as well as link to the video comparing the original MXR pedal to the PedalPCB. Sounds amazing and there is pop in the MXR. PedalPCB unit is popping thru the speaker when active, no pop when disengaging. Video - MXR Phase 90 to Pedal PCB Comparison

    XC Phase (Phase 90) Issues

How is it not True Bypass when it was originally hooked up, again, like the SPDT bypass I posted above with pictures showing the footswitch and the 3 wires going to it, just like the "Simple SPDT" illustration, no relay or transistor switch, etc.?!?? I have FIVE Phasers on the bench as I said...

    XC Phase (Phase 90) Issues

Thanks for the link! Only problem is...it appears the original MXR CSP026 '74 Vintage Phase 90 seems to be a true bypass of a sort and doesn't "Pop"!! I'm attaching the original schematic from ElectroSmash. It doesn't show the switching, but shows the different section of the pedal and I do...

    XC Phase (Phase 90) Issues

So you're using the Atlas DCA75 - Atlas DCA75 Meter Yeah, I have 3 or 4 of the Atlas meters and love them. I don't have the DCA75. It looks like there is an "Improved JFET Matcher" which measures Vp Idss and Vgs out there originally from RG Keen - Greatly Improved JFET Matcher This will help...

    XC Phase (Phase 90) Issues

I just finalized an XC Phase pedal. I have one question and one issue. The thing is functioning appropriately and engaging/disengaging. The issue I have is that there is a loud audible "POP" when engaged (not when disengaging)! I have an actual MXR CSP026 74 Vintage MXR Phase 90 I purchased...

    Cepheid chorus noisy LFO

Haven't used my pedal since I build it as tied up with other thing, but circled back around and yeah, noticed it "ticks"! I notice it when DISengaged rather than engaged!! I'll see if moving the wires does anything, but know I my wires are routed to the outside away from the board, so...

    TS9 & 808 Danae Mods

Looks like low-B has a frequency of 61.7Hz, so need to ensure frequency down to at least that (or lower). What is the current design tuned to and how to calculate that??

    TS9 & 808 Danae Mods

Ok, so played it thru Bass over the weekend and with some other area Bass Players to demo. The Danae pedal is killer! Sounded EXCELLENT on Bass for those interested in the feedback from me and people. One question or ask is that the frequency response be extended down to the low-B for the...

    Q: Engineers Thumb Issue

I know sounds like a stupid question, but has anyone confirmed the Engineers Thumb build?? I built one up. Seems to work and all controls, but active LED is either ON....or ON brighter/darker!! Just so I know when on or off, just disconnected the 2 wires from the board, and wired hot directly to...

    Marshall 2203KK - Boost / Noise Gate

I read in another forum that the Marshall 2203KK head is just a KT88 JCM800, but in Beast mode, has the input go into a Boost and then Noise Gate (Zuul), then into the JCM800! Attached is the schemo and initial PCB someone made up, but seemed large in size. As the folks here at PedalPCB have...

    TS9 & 808 Danae Mods

So, you built this one for Bass Guitar and sounded good as-is?? Yeah, I'm apprehensive on building anything like OD for Bass without first confirming. A lot of pedals are designed for Guitar, which has a different audio scale, so playing the lower octave's could flub out and sound muddy, for...
