Favorite Vox in a Box PPCB's

My favorite is the Cobbler, but add a second footswitch for a second gain stage. https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/modified-cobbler-preamp.18949/

    SOLVED Intelligent relay module DPT

    That worked! Many thanks!

    SOLVED Intelligent relay module DPT

When I wire the board in this manner, it works, but the LED turns on when the circuit is bypassed and the LED is off with the circuit engaged. Any ideas? Thanks!

    SOLVED Intelligent relay module DPT

Thanks, @Robert! I assume that the pads with the green line need to be bridged?

    SOLVED Intelligent relay module DPT

Anyone know how wire this relay to a PedalPCB board? The top connections are not marked. @Robert any suggestions? I am using it to momentary control a second PCB. I am running a fuzz face into the Ocelot. Thanks!

Kings Hand build - non-standard resistor values

I also used resistors in a series to get the correct values. I think that is the way to go.

Marriage Keeper (headphone amp + UniCab)

I thought “Marriage Keeper” would be an appropriate name for this combo pedal. At some point, I hope my wife likes my guitar playing. However, I know it is terrible to hear someone play the same songs over and over or hear someone learn a new tune. This pedal allows the opportunity to play...

Aion Fx L5 preamp drive channel

Here is a light overdrive and almost full overdrive examples. The full overdrive example has the comp turned off.

Aion Fx L5 preamp drive channel

I haven’t seen many build reports of this pedal, so I wanted to share. The build has a lot of parts that are unique, but easily found at Mouser. My only trouble was following the directions for the calibrations of the trimmers. I think my multimeter was not able to measure in the manner needed...

    Phase 2 - LDR’s - Photoresistors

Ha! Thanks for the compliment! Please us know if you get it working with the green LED and LDRs. That will help others that run into a similar issue.

    Phase 2 - LDR’s - Photoresistors

Your logic for option #2 seems correct. If it fails, swap the yellow LED. That should be an easy part exchange. I would do that prior ordering the expensive Mouser parts. You could also socket the LED and try both with little risk of damaging the PCB

OTHER Guide for using Affinity Designer and Tayda UV printing services

This rocks! As mentioned in an earlier post, I'm trying to switch to Affinity. These assets and templates are fantastic!

Graphics: vectorizing images (without Adobe Illustrator) and new fonts for Affinity

After your vectorize in Inkscape, save as a SVG file. Next, import it into Affinity. Is this correct? Thanks for the help. The font link also looks great!

Graphics: vectorizing images (without Adobe Illustrator) and new fonts for Affinity

I have enjoyed using Adobe Illustrator, but I have grown frustrated with the cost. I've downloaded my Affinity Designer trial and learning it. However, I need some help to learn where or how to vectorize images. From what I can tell, Affinity does not vectorize images. If it doesn't, what...

Late to the party: Sheepylove Figbuster Fuzz

I love those graphics and colors. I don’t have the creativity to use that yellow enclosure, but you knocked it out of the park.

    Fuzz Foundry W/AC125’s

I am really liking the stamped labels. Great look.

SOLVED Sandspur fuzz - no sound, led and bypass work

You test the transistors by placing the negative probe on the negative terminal for power and the positive probe at each transistor leg. It is helpful to know the voltage at each leg. The bias trimmer and Sundial will help adjust the voltages.

SOLVED Sandspur fuzz - no sound, led and bypass work

I would suggest checking you voltages at the transistors and power input to the board. If that checks out, then proceed with an audio probe.

    Deofol overdrive

This is a really nice pedal. I have read that it is a tubescreamer variant for people who do not love tubescreamers. I would totally agree! I really like the variety of gain and the tone sculpting options. I had an issue with the toggles making contact with the lower pots and shorting the...
