    A Pair of Octave fuzzes

The eEffectslayouts Ache. It's the EQD life pedal without the boost and with a foot switch for the octave effect. I am late to the party building these, but I don't think there are currently any build reports of this specific pedal here, so here's my two cents. It's awesome. This one has been in...

    Arkaim fuzz

The white washers are really doing it for me here. They make a nice compliment to the knobs. I love this pedal and need to make another one. Make sure to try it on bass.

    Volume Drop Paragon Overdrive

Only times I've run into that issue was when I put the wrong resistor somewhere in the signal path. I'd check your band colors to be sure you didn't accidentally get a 47k in place of a 4.7k or something similar.

    Sorcerer/Wizard PTP (revised 4/20/2026)

I appreciate the writeup! I started some research too and it seems like there are some basic building patterns along the lines of what you said that I can follow. Alright I'm committed. Get ready to see some atrocious solder blobbing here when I get the circuit finalized. At the very least it...

    Sorcerer/Wizard PTP (revised 4/20/2026)

It does seem pretty simple to take a swing at. I have an Emexar board courtesy of @derevaun that I want to mod up but maybe as an initial pass.. Do you have a plan of attack you go by? It looks stressful compared to populating a PCB.

    Sorcerer/Wizard PTP (revised 4/20/2026)

Just breadboarded a distortion+ last night and thought "I could maybe do this PtP..." Clearly I was hallucinating.

SOLVED Pro-10 green side no gain low output

There is a schematic for the individual sides of the pro-10 and that should get you 99% of the way

    Bellum Fuzz MK1

I I'll pull mine out and play with it in a bit. I seem to remember some gating depending how I arranged the transistors, but where I ended up was much less of a gated fuzz and much more of a big bloom sound.

    Bellum Fuzz MK1

I used these in mine and they seem to be a bit less finicky. Still not a fan, but sometimes it's necessary. https://www.taydaelectronics.com/connectors-sockets/pin-headers/3-pin-2-54-mm-single-row-female-pin-header.html

    Bellum Fuzz MK1

When you say spurty, do you mean it has a gated sound? I always love seeing these being built. The mki and mkii are both really cool muffs.

    Just curious: 125B vs 1590B?

You just summoned the VFE police with this drop.

    Just curious: 125B vs 1590B?

all fine and dandy unless you add any pedals with any size or in/out config differences. Thinking Tuner, Wah, Volume Pedal, anything Boss makes, etc. The real solution is to SCHMORG your board.

    Just curious: 125B vs 1590B?

1590B with top mounts isn't too hard honestly. I just have a stencil for the top. Gotta think about your capacitor clearance and use the 2.1mm DC jack. I hand drill all mine too. if I can do it, you can too!

    Kliche Mini….Quick build

I've seen this graphic on at least one of your other builds and I love it. The Lion and The Lamb is a good reminder and concept for the build.

DEMO GOTA Distortion Supreme-BOSS MD-2 Mega Distortion

That riff crushes. I think at this point I've learned about more Boss pedals from GOTA than from the rest of my life experience combined. That PCB is slick too. I like the I/O & DC portion being up in its own little world. Very visually pleasing.

    Bellum Fuzz MKII Build

It sounds like your diodes might be leaky? I think mine does this too since I used some Russian D9 diodes. I could be reading your symptoms incorrectly though. I believe there are others who have talked about this on the forum. Maybe searching the troubleshooting forum for other Bellum builds...

Foxx Tone Machines - Why No Bias or Starve?

I love doing this with my Octavia. It makes for some really cool 8 bit synthy sounds. And then your roll in more volume and it's a completely different beast.

Foxx Tone Machines - Why No Bias or Starve?

Could build one of these and try it with all of your fuzzes to see how they react. Still on my to do list.

    How to attach FV-1

With a good solder sucker I would maybe be willing to try it. Not one of the plastic things. But also I'd be careful to give it some time between desoldering pads so you don't roast the chip.

    How to attach FV-1

Looks better than my first fv-1 and mine worked so I think you'll be fine.
