Stacked Pedal Idea (need expert advice)

Also, parallel blending will get you a distinct sound but it will not be the same as your normal series stacking.

    Aged Carbon Film Resistors

I meant the other 99.9999% of the pedal buying population. 😁 But as long as we are here, other than color, shape, and "noise", I don't. So please, do tell, if you would be so kind.

    Aged Carbon Film Resistors

Does anyone really know the difference between carbon comp, carbon film, and metal film resistors?

    Bypassable Clean Blend

I have yet to see a standalone mixer/blend pedal that only adds clean blend to an existing pedal's sound. They all bypass to clean rather than effect only. It seems opposite to me.

What is the UK Filter on the JCT95 wah?

https://www.jimdunlop.com/justin-chancellor-cry-baby-wah/ Anybody know what the UK Filter is? The copy says : "The U.K. Filter mode uses a custom solid-state circuit designed to emulate the unique envelope-like filtering of the tone control on Justin's own instrument."

Explain like I'm 5, what is going on in this pedal to make is sound like this, please?

You would just turn down the tone knob on your guitar. When that Res knob is turned down, the cutoff knob is the same thing.

Dumb this down for me (Audio Probe) I'm confused

A signal generator goes into the input of a circuit and an audio probe is on the output, so they are separate things. Here is my audio probe. It is just an extension of the amp cable Edit: I forgot to show another alligator clip from the cable ground to circuit ground

    The homemade capacitor

It's baffling to me that the guy has zero fucks to give about the actual value of the diy cap, especially since half the video was dedicated to the comparison.

    DuoPhase LFO no LFOing

I tried taking IC3B out of the socket and direct soldering a new chip. No change. The green shows where I get strong phasing. The pink is no sound at all. In the red, there is a high pitch squeal that oscillates with the LFO. The yellow is a mid range buzzer sound with no oscillation. The...

    DuoPhase LFO no LFOing

After the holidays, Its been slow going with this. Using an audio probe, I managed to get the A side working. The B side, no so much. With the audio probe I get strong phasing on IC2B.1 pin3, but its mute on pin1. On pin2 I get a really loud squelchy sound and I can not quite figure it out. I...

    DuoPhase LFO no LFOing

Here is a closer look at the IC2A area. Sorry about the scars but my edge cutter has developed a bur I need to file down. I don't think of them are deep or severe enough to cut a trace.

    DuoPhase LFO no LFOing

All knobs and trimers set to roughly noon. Toggles set to down toward stomps. Looks like IC 2A may have some issues. Here are the voltages using a Onespot. Edit: I mixed up pins 1-3 on IC1B but it's corrected now IC1 A. B. 1) 0. 0 2) 0. 0 3) 0. 0 4) -7.79...

    DuoPhase LFO no LFOing

I don't have any others to try. I have a TC1044SCPA on the A side and a TC7662BCPA on the B side. There is no change when reversing which side the chips are on.
