SOLVED Part of PT2399 delay circuit responsible for repeats (Madbean Degenerator)

Yup, Q1 is your suspect. Audio probe the gate and source pins (gate for input, source for output).

    tc1044 ground question

It's not a dumb question. Ground is ground whether or not you are working with positive of negative DC voltage. In the case of an inverter, that 47uF cap is still a power decoupling cap but the + end is connected to ground rather than the - because in that case, ground is the higher voltage...

    5th Openhaus Attempt Solved

I think the schematic is mostly correct EXCEPT Q6 on the schem (not my drawing) is shown as NPN and it is actually a JFET. And, it looks like my layout was erroneously done for NPN. So, what you need to do is: Using a 2n5457, flip the orientation as shown at Q6 on the PCB (so the transistor is...

    5th Openhaus Attempt Solved

I looked at this one recently while considering doing it as a regular project. I think there are a couple of errors. I'll check later today and get back to you.

    SPST vs SPDT switch

Like benny said there is no switching problem that exclusively requires an SPST. For power on a tube pedal you can even do one better with an SPDT. Use a 1M resistor to ground on the extra lug to quickly drain the voltage off B+ on the tube pedal when powered down. However, there is one...

Charge Pump Noise - Pedal Order Dependent

Someone could make bank if they were to design a PP2+ style supply where every ground isolated tap can be selected b/w 9,15 OR 18v @ 100mA. It would solve a lot of issues (namely, abandoning the need for charge pumps). Is there one out there like that?

    Muzzle Mods?

I haven't built it but I am familiar with the circuit. Using a 25kA pot might give slightly more fine control in that area, but probably not as much as you want. So, instead, I would suggest limiting the range of the control like you are suggesting. Switch to a 10kA pot, and it should be wired...

SOLVED Electric Lover Flanger (Electric Mistress clone from PCBGuitarmania)

Cool! -Edit - I keep mixing things up (deleted what I had here originally). Here's the actual correct info: For MN320x BBD chips, VGG should be set at 14/15 the value of the supply. So, if it's 9v, then Vgg is 8.4v. Supply limit is 9v on MN320x chips. So, 8.1v is correct for your 8.7v supply...

SOLVED Electric Lover Flanger (Electric Mistress clone from PCBGuitarmania)

One extra thing: your supply voltage is on pin5 and you are reading 8.7v there, not 9. You want your Vgg voltage on pin4 to be about 0.6v lower than the supply for the MN3207. In that case, you may want to make R10 either 8k2 or 10k instead of 6k8. Or, just socket that resistor and use the value...

SOLVED Electric Lover Flanger (Electric Mistress clone from PCBGuitarmania)

There's no proper Vgg voltage on pin 4, and for an MN3207 it should be around +8.4v, not 45mv (when using a 9v supply). The designer didn't include everything needed for the MN3207 to work correctly. Here's how to fix it: Make R10 a 6.8k resistor. Solder one end of a jumper wire to pin3 of the...

    Help with switching design

I'm trying to follow the idea here. Wouldn't a second bypass footswitch for the octave (with a bi-color or two LEDs) pretty much accomplish the same thing? You could even control it with your feetsees. Or, am I misunderstanding the goal?
