    Classic fuzzes?

These were the first two that I thought of also. Get 2 gnats and build both a buzzaround and an elka dizzytone. I've only built the tweaked version from moonn, the stoner bee, but the bee baa also rules. Does the Prunes and Custard count? Love me some P&C.

Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

Kronos is like the Hendrix of modern chamber music. All the "cool nerds" in music school owned their Black Angels recording back in the day. If the Neil Young transcription doesn't grab you, stick around at least for the second piece by Lizée with the whirly tubes. I'm way into that kind of...

    Angine de Poitrine

My only truly negative thought that occurred when I first saw this group was "ew, feet." Seeing folks hate on it triggers my contrarian ways so I'm pro poitrine at this point.

When I want a faceless artsy fartsy duo that's a tough listen, I reach for Clown Core.

    New Pedal Releases

I also use a rubberneck and keep a behringer vibrato around as a back up to my viib. Haven't been able to replace my EHX H.O.G either though I no longer use it for octave down sounds now that I have both an Ocelot and a Soy Sauce on there. I cut off my softball sized man-bun a few years ago...

    Pedalpcb pastel

FWIW it's a fairly unique sounding preamp, so many things sound extremely similar to something else. This one has some je ne sais quoi that, as Will said, isn't going on the pedal board but could be useful anyway. I built one because I try to keep my mind and ears open. I may not love it but...

    What's for dinner?

Elaine Carol wouldn't take this long. You just need some TikTok chef style shortcuts. I wonder what the pedal builder version of cutting green onions with scissors would be? "Now we're going to just take all the passive components and were going to pile them up on the hababichi and jab at them...

DEMO Black Angus - Closed Circuit Booster

Damn, I put my headphone amp in the same enclosure and the finish has held up to a lot of abuse. I hope yours is a fluke because I also like the look quite a bit. It's probably my favorite of the tayda matte sand offerings.

    What’s really good?

I opened my first credit card as a "back up" fund when I did a 4 week tour in Europe. I wildly underestimated how quickly one can max a newbie account out on mostly beer and döner. Thankfully there were no emergencies.

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I've done this to a lot of chairs. Not the fixing part...

Moonn Big Bass Bro (W&C Suppa Phat Phuk and Phull Phat Double Phuk)

My first vero project was a Phat Phuk B and I have really enjoyed that pedal for my hint of grit tones. With the bias backed off its pretty clean so it's also very nice as a boost that adds a fair amount of coloring to the sound. It's designed more to be a grimey bass booster than a real dirt...

    What's for dinner?

Had a hankering so I made a pseudo cheesesteak. I say pseudo because I replaced the sweet peppers with mushrooms and cooked the shaved ribeye in a Mongolian BBQ inspired manner. Cast iron, chili oil, soy sauce, garlic etc...

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Running one's hand down a freshly sawn piece of wenge is like the woodworkers version of nails on a chalkboard. Love the stuff but hot damn it's some of the most pain inducing lumber I've ever handled.

    Thumbucker Compressor (ValveWizard Engineers Thumb)

I was going to say, this is nothing compared to when you first got in to the diying of pedals.
