CONTEST $100 Small Bear Gift card

I would start with parts for boards I just ordered with the sale going on. 1st up - tearjerker. I've got a couple of shells but missing feet and battery door. I'd like the basic setting to have some mojo so going for the clyde mccoy vibe. Gonna have to parallel the caps to get around 4uf. FWIW...

If mine was off a wee bit like that I'd manually drill the holes into with a stepbit into alignment. The washers should cover the difference. Looksl ike the middle ones are only out in the picture. Would have to probably use a bezel for bigger LED size. Design looks great!

    2N2222A - PN2222A - P2N2222A

Also the P indicates the plastic casing (to-92 maybe?) as opposed to the germanium looking style ones. I've seen people make arguments that they sound slightly different. The manufacturer says they are the same. I don't worry too much about it but save the metal cans for "vintage" circuits. If...

    Matte clear coat

I use the matte rustoleum on laser waterslide without issue. Have had the cloudiness and dreaded crackly/wrinkle thing happen on occasion on builds. The prior being humidity temperature issues (used to use hairdryer to fast dry) the latter being moisture still in the decal. I usually do mine...

Fun! Got the OTA, LDR and digital varieties. Would definitely be game to build a JFET for comparison!

    Deflector Reverb "TITAN"

Just wanted to say that your modular board is awesome. Does it have a lid? If all my faves weren't already in boxes I would consider making one like that. I could imagine making some "modulation stations" like this. Really cool.

You can adjust it by going to pixel size in Affinity instead of mm. I got away with .1mm but will be adjusting from here on out. Not worth the hassle of a redo!

UPDATE - Enclosures arrived today. They tuned out perfect. Thanks everyone who helped!! As reported, used inkscape into Affinity. Separate layers showed in Adobe reader but not in illustrator. There was a sizing issue that I received and email about, which i fixed. No layer issue though and I...

Did you order multiple drill services, one for each enclosure? For example, I ordered three and had to add three drill services to basket.

Right. My experience, too. Looks like Dan is addressing it in an Affinity forum (very cool!) but in the meantime, it appears that it is not a deal breaker if it does not show the layers split in Illustrator. At least according to Cooder's experience and I didn't get an email from Hugo stating it...

I felt like that was worth mentioning again. I missed it when Cooder mentioned earlier. Both his an my Affinity PDF exports show split layers in Adobe Reader but not in illustrator. I think somewhere in the thread it was mentioned that we don't know precisely what program is used to determine...

No. If I had illustrator I wouldn't have bothered with Affinity. I found an old 30 day trial of cs4. Loaded it up. Neither my exported pdf or cooder's that he sent me which he also did in Affinity separated out layers in CS4. :(

Well, I got a shipment notice so I guess the .1mm wasn't a deal breaker. Regardless, I will be checking down to pixel in future. Also, Cooder graciously sent me one of his AD files and when I exported the buttons weren't depressed on the Roland swatches either, so I am hoping since his turned...

Man, I'd totally use illustrator if I had it. It appears Dan and Cooder have had good results with AD. I've got to be missing something outside of the tutorial if they are getting good results. PM time! :) BTW, winter, I'm Destro over at MB. I don't post often but see both you and Cooder's build...
