    Psst i got a secret

I don't know. None of the kits that aion has made has excluded any parts. We shall see.

    Psst i got a secret

Yes, most of that is here except the modified fuzz face. By the way they are kits and not just pcbs. It might be nice to not have to hunt for germanium transistors that are in the right HFE spec for biasing. I bet they will be tested for leakage too.

    Psst i got a secret

Aion fx is releasing 6 new kits but the release has been delayed till December because of problems with enclosure sourcing. This includes both the Tonebender mark II and mark III the germanium fuzz face that has a pickup simulator and a few equalization knobs, a Dallas rangemaster, a zvex fuzz...

Bass with built in bottle opener!

Yup that's on point. I have never played them in person nor do I ever plan to, but they seem to be alright when they are refinished. Some of his designs look really odd. Here is another one. It looks like a boat paddle with strings. Did I mention it has a built in carry handle?

CONTEST $100 Small Bear Gift card

I would probably buy some of the more obscure parts and some transistors. Maybe some of those cool knobs.

    El Sol

It seems to be more of a signal thing. After a note has sustained for a while on the bridge pickup it starts to oscillate. If you play soflty on the neck pickup it oscillates as well. I don't know what the problem is. Sorry that I kinda hijacked the thread.

    El Sol

You guys have any oscillation issues? Mine has it especially on the neck pickup. I have heard that lm386 ICs do that, just wanted to ask if you guys have experienced that. It is kind of an issue for me.

    Transistors for fuzz pedals?

I have a tester that looks just like that. I don't have a good breadboard though. Any suggestions?

    Transistors for fuzz pedals?

Thanks for all the info guys! I will do more research.Thankfully out of production and rare parts is not always a problem for me...

    Lm386 Gating

Do you mean that weird oscillating effect after a note is held for a long time? Sorry if that isn't useful at all, my El Sol does that for some reason.

    Transistors for fuzz pedals?

Ok. I don't know how I would determine what is an acceptable he range for individual pedals. I probably can't do either of the methods Chuck described.

    Transistors for fuzz pedals?

I don't really even know what the hFE means or how to match them. I know almost nothing about transistors.

    Transistors for fuzz pedals?

Sandspur maybe. Also curious about the transistors for the fuzz foundry deluxe.

    Transistors for fuzz pedals?

I just wanted some info on transistors in fuzz pedals. I know nothing about the gain you want or matching transistors or stuff like that. If someone could give me a complete rundown of transistors in fuzz pedals, I would appreciate it greatly.

    These useful for anything?

Thank you. I was just curious because I recognized the IC name before.

    These useful for anything?

I know that the 45580 number is one of the tube screamer ICs, but what are the values below that? Would they be useful for pedal building?
