I have a question about using a socket... does elevating the reverb module a little higher, because of the socket, affect the mounting of the pots, switch, jacks, etc?

Finally got around to finishing mine. An additional tip... which may be obvious, and definitely good practice with this build, but something I neglected to do. TEST YOUR LEDs before soldering everything together! Unsoldering this is not fun.

It's very close, and you can get Trower-like tones from the pedal, with the right pickups. Strats with single coil pickups sound best (maybe obvoiusly). We found that some Strats work better than others to get the Trower sound - different wood, pickups, etc. Humbuckers - ain't gonna get you...

FWIW - The gut shots of your PS look relatively similar to my Voodoo Labs 4x4 PS, which I recently repaired. One of the 12 volt regulators was putting out 23 volts. The regulator (LD1117) ended up being bad. Mouser had them for $1.20. Might be worth giving that a shot if you want to try to...

Finally completed my first Arachnid. Very cool pedal. I positioned the hour glass on the Black Widow over the LED so that when the pedal is switched on, the LED lights up the red hour glass.
