    Pedal board power supplies

I would like to say I am quite happy with my upgrade this summer from an MXR DC Brick, to a truetone CS12. I knew my set up was noisy, but I didn't realize HOW noisy all my pedals were until I used the CS12. My biggest concern was space in the road case I use. I didn't want to have to buy or...

Wonderful. Thank you. Very helpful stuff.

    Cusack's production facility

Thank you for this. A walkthrough of my production facility would be one photo of my kitchen table, with boxes full of parts, in bags labeled StompBox Parts. Are you hiring? I live 7 hours away, in Canada. But I'm willing relocate for the right position.

    Wet/dry pedal?

I am wiring up a Buff and Blend right now. I'm going to add it to a modded Green Ringer. I have used the Buff n Blend in a few builds, including my first modded Big Muff. It was on my board for two years. I was adding small, or large amounts of fuzz into most song I played live. It made me...

    Show Off Your Board!

I love knobs without labels too. Tuner into a Fuzz Factory (GuitarPCB) with a Mercurial. To the Octron, Quaverato, PT2399 Tap Tempo dirty tape Delay built by someone in Alberta, called Fragmenter Elec. To the Circulator, CrackleJack x2 with a Sproing, into a BYOC Para EQ, Split by the Radial...

    Fuzz Foundry (GuitarPCB) and Mercurial

Toshiba M8640E and Sanyo 2SA322 . I don't recall the Hfe. I got them from a place in Quebec, https://thedhtsstore.com ,I bought a bunch of different brands, thinking I would swap them a few times. But I haven't touched them.

    Fuzz Foundry (GuitarPCB) and Mercurial

A few months ago I bought some Germanium transistors from Guitar PCB, and decided to get some boards as well. I thought, "I love a good fuzz face, why not try a fuzz factory?" So I popped it together, and fell in love with the fuzz, and the tweakability. But I wanted to be able to boost it, and...

    Pets of PedalPCB

I guess we all have too many photos of our pets sleeping on our phones.

    Sproing and two CrackleJacks

For the last few years I've been using a Belton Brick reverb pedal that I made from GGG. It has been paired with a few other effects, mostly boosts, in a 1590b or bb. The simple Belton reverb has suited my needs. And I found I was using a SHO boost most often with the reverb, and I had them...

    PPCB Circulator

Well done. I like the large font lettering. Very bold and clean. I too, built a Circulator and find it's a better phaser then a Phase ii (half a Duophase) for my needs. Since putting it on my board, I haven't touched the knobs much. It's become a "set it, and forget it" pedal. I plan to build...

    Pets of PedalPCB

Here is Jackson. He gives me attitude when I practice loudly, and he sings along in certain keys. And he calmly sleeps while I solder. Great little fuzz face to have on my side.

    Electronics and eyesight

I use a jewellers loupe. I got it from a friend years ago to look at the tri-combs on cannabis I tried growing. I hold it against my cheek, and bring the component towards my eye. Unlike a magnifying glass, where its held away from you. I work under an average desk lamp. Then use my phone...

Newbie Questions; Left in dark in another forum

I too built that 3 Transistor Champ of a circuit, some time ago. I believe I went with J201's. But I haven't decided where to use it. It's such a small board that I plan to cram it into another pedal. It's always fun to have an extra boost in the path. In fact, a lot of the boards from that...

    DOD Death Metal

Wonderful work. I see you didn't go with the original names. Guts Pain Scream and R.I.P.. I'm thinking those dirt monger pcbs could fit in the original DOD enclosure. I may have to dig out the busted one I have. The tactile switch crapped out. Thanks for the inspiration.

    CONTEST Guess How Many? #7️⃣

I just saw that 81 had been declared. I forfeit my guess, due to laziness. Which may be a trait of a Millennial. Oh dear.

    CONTEST Guess How Many? #7️⃣

I read an article in a "Newspaper" a few years back. The writer coined the term "Zenial"; after Gen X, and Y, kinda thing. If you were born between the years 1976-1986 you are in a special group of people that bridged the analog-digital gap. You grew up learning how to use things like rotary...

    Build suggestions from ppcb

I like both the Circulator and the Phase II. And I plan to make both again. With some mods. The Pendulum got me into harmonic tremolo in a wonderful way. And the Mercurial is such a useful circuit. I wish I had it years ago. (But it is simple) AND I'm really looking forward to the Fuzz Foundry...

    2 One-Knobbers in a 1590b?

1590b is a tight fit. Here's a photo of a belton reverb/sho I built. It's in a 125b. Both circuits have been in and out of previous builds, so the wires are a mess. To help with space, the switches are angled. And the pots are off board. I hope it helps. It's always fun having two in one.

    CONTEST Fuzz Face Fridays

Holy Poop! I just noticed this. Thank you tremendously. I will use it wisely... and purchase more fuzzes, hahaha.

    Identify this circuit?

My guess is Fuzz as well. Two Germanium transistors, and one Silicon.
