Would this transformer work you think? I used one in the past for a Bobtavia build which called for this specific transformer and have an extra sitting around.

Wow! Yours has a lot more gain than mine! I like how mine sounds but it’s quite a mild fuzz. I’m wondering if the transistors are the culprit… I did the Albini mods as well but don’t think it would cause this much of a gain drop. I used the 2N3565 and a NTE102 (hfe 155).

Thanks for the info. Sorry to hear that. I had to buy the whole BYOC kit in order to get the board. Unfortunate because I would’ve saved a lot of money just getting the PCB but I wanted to build this specific flanger so went for it before it gets discontinued for any reason.

And btw I ended up shielding all the in/out wiring for the G3/G4 circuits to help with noise, and it did help a bit but with a Noise Gate it’s perfect.

Haha well too late for that but would’ve been a good idea. Although I do still want to be able to use both Revv together.

Thanks for posting the mod, I like it a lot when playing low notes.

I found that it helps to track lower notes better, so those on the low E string actually come out clearer. However, it makes anything past the 9th fret on the high E string not even register… so I guess useful depending on how you’re using the pedal. Here’s a quick demo of the Tracking mod:

Ok went ahead and used this square SPST toggle that fit PERFECTLY snug between the PCB and enclosure. I let the red wire to R9 long in case I do decide to drill out a hole for this switch on the outside of the enclosure.

Oh man guys I’m gonna have to implement the Tracking switch mod. Just did a rough wiring on it and it is very usable. Thinking I’ll put it on the top of the box (next to the jacks) so I don’t ruin my art 😬
