    Paragon Mini - No Sound

Please confirm you have a high side and low side gain. R20 and R30 are the same, high side. R3 and R16 are not, low side

    Paragon Mini - No Sound

I’ve made resistor mistakes before, like installed a 392k instead of 392R, can significantly after your gain stages. It’s tedious but at some point you should check each resistor color codes.

    International Customers for Q-tune kit

For any international customers, I've been thinking about a No Screen / No Enclosure option. Purchase the screen here: Waveshare with touch. Flash the screen yourself using the Web Installer. Purchase the enclosure from Tayda. Drill/UV templates provided. We'd subtract our cost of the...

Black is GND on the screen. I always double check that.

    Q-Tune DIY Tuner kit

Sorry. If things go well we plan to move to Shopify which will have PayPal. But for now Stripe and its options are best for us as we get started.

    Q-Tune DIY Tuner kit

Yeah, I feel your pain, the world has changed from 5 years go. I've thought about a minimal kit, just a PCB and oddities - you get all the rest yourself. I don't know how much we'd charge, we haven't really talked about that option. But if so I'd be more comfortable with USPS First Class to...

    Q-Tune DIY Tuner kit

Actually, here's an option maybe. Our standard shipping box is 6x4x4". But we could use different packaging and get it into a USPS Small Flat Rate Box. It all could easily fit in there. 125b would fit without the lid attached. 1590 no problem. 6-10 days. It's still $50, but I feel a LOT better...

    Q-Tune DIY Tuner kit

Honestly we'd love to ship to everyone. I've shipped pedals to many countries in the past but it's either cheap (and takes 2-4 weeks, very nerve racking), or faster (and much more expensive). Even Canada right now is in the $50 range, ug. Here's a thread I've been reading through. Seems like...

    Q-Tune enclosure size? 1590b vs 125b

This is not the production PCB, similar schematic with RAMP and C9 deleted from production PCB. But the jack spacing is the same. 30mm between audio jack centers. As far as tedious, it's not tedious at all because all 3 jacks are soldered to the PCB. Takes about 30 seconds to install the PCB...

    Comparison of Tuners and Q-tune

I guess I didn't realize this until recently but it looks like Q-tune and Peterson have a very similar spin rate, while Poly3 is about twice as fast and TurboTuner is WAY faster. I've used TT for so long it never bothered me. But now I think I like the slower rate.

    Comparison of Tuners and Q-tune

And here is what the waveform looks like for a guitar string. See how complicated it is. This is the challenge of writing tuning algorithms. The frequency of a simple sinewave is easy with a common zero-crossing algorithm. But a vibrating string is much more complicated, you can see the...

    Comparison of Tuners and Q-tune

Similar to the above, only with Q-tune "Techie" Tuning Style. Notice that the accuracy against a tone generator is generally +/- 0.05 Hz. With most of the strings this is <0.1 Cents, but as the frequency gets lower the distance between semitones decreases. And so even though the frequency...
