    Shindig Overdrive build pics

I just completed this one today. I expected it to have more overdrive (gain) but it does sound really good. i sourced and used the expensive chip (AD823AN). I mounted mine in a 1590B using the logo from the 60's TV show, with a pedalpcb relayed true bypass. It has all top jacks and Wima film...

    Systech Pedals

i just completed the pedal PCB Zapper (Systech Harmonic Energizer) and mounted it ina 1590B, after also building Aion effects version. They are very similar (sound almost exactly the same) although i personally think the Aion version sounds a little better albeit requires a larger 125B...

    Harmonic Energizer

I just finished an Aion Parsec which is a slightly modified Systec Harmonic Energizer ( they added a volume control at the output. It sounds very good (albeit a bit noisy with the higher frequencies boosted). Anyway here's some pics of my build in a 125B with an Aion relayed true bypass...

    Maestro Fuzztain clone

Just completed this one, a Maestro Fuzztain clone using an EAE PCB from Oshpark. It's mounted in a 1590B with all top jacks with relayed true bypass. I had the original a little while ago and it sounds just like it. here's a pic of the orignal that i had:

Titania, A tale of two Titans

I just completed building my second one of these. I built the first one in September of '22 with my own acid etched pcb, and a second one completed yesterday from a pedalPCB pcb. They actually sound just slighlty different, probably because i used 2N222A's in my first and 2N3903's in my second...

    Third Build Today-Ampeg Scrambler

I finally got this one done. It's Aions "Aperture" which is an Ampeg Scrambler. I used 2N5306 Darlingtons (as used in the original) and BC549B's for the BC169B's) I still need to experiment with the internal trimpot (the octave), but it does sound very good where it's currently at in the...

    Maestro MFZ-1

I just finished this one in a textered black 1590B and compared it to my 1970's original and I'm pleased to say that it sounds EXACTLY like it, and it's tiny compared to it. here's some pics of it (and the last one side by side with the 70's unit. (BTW, the original is 9V battery power ONLY)...

    Satisfaction Fuzz

i just finished a Satisfaction fuzz with a relayed true bypass. It's the one with just two controls Volume and Attack (fuzz). I also have the EHX Satisfaction plus verison which has Volume, Attack, Tone and Bias controls as well as a Fat/normal switch, but I just prefer all top jacks and elayed...

    Gollum (Spaceman Rumblefuzz Clone)

I just finished this one and I think that it came out nice. it's a pretty cool bass fuzz. I added a PedalPCB relayed bypass to it. anyway, here's some pics of my build:

Cannon Fodder (Caroline Wave Cannon) Build

I just completed the PedalPCB Cannon Fodder which is the Caroline Wave Cannon (I believe it's the MK2 judging by the controls). I bought the original way back in 2010 and always liked it on bass guitar. Anyway, while comparing it to the original, it has pretty much the same distortion/fuzz sound...

    Referee build (Resonant Filter Equalizer)

I just finished this one and i think that it's sounds pretty good. It's a clone of the Broughton RFE.

Cream Pie (Frantone Cream puff) build sounds very dark

i just finished building a Cream Pie in a 1590B with all top jacks and a relayed true bypass, and to me, it just sounds too dark, even with the tone control dimed. If it wasn't so dark sounding, i'd probably like it A LOT more.

    410 Fuzz (Fortin fuzz)1590B

I just finished this one and, IMO, it actually sounds pretty good. I went with a 1590B with relayed true bypass.

    Sandblaster-Holy Grit build

i just finished this one about an hour ago and i'm really diggin' it. I wanted to capture the look of the original (that way i can keep track of what they are). anyway, i'm very pleased on how it turned out and it sounds great with a bass.

    Super Stevie Build

I just finished this one and i really dig it. i use mine with a bass so i did ONE mod to it, by replacing C1 (33nf) with a 68nf capacitor to allow more low end into the circuit. I installed sockets for R6 (3k3 resistor) but after trying it without the resistor, I'm just not going to install it...

    Bootleg Build

I just finished this one. I did a couple of mods to it to make it more to my liking. First, the BA482 didoes being hard ti find, i used ECG 555A;'s (which were listed to be a suitable replacement). I also wanted a little bit more output and since i didn't have a 53K6 resistor, i used a 56K one...

    Motorizer (OKKO Motor Bass)

I just finshed build the Motorizer and I really dig it. After it was completed, while testing it out of the enclosure, I wasn't very pleased with the sound of the distortion (flubby and ugly), especially at high gain settings, but for some unexplained reason, once mounted and completed, it...

    A couple of Rats

i just finsihed building two Rats in 1590B2 enclosures, both with added eq controls and a relayed true bypass. One with treble & bass (BAX Rat Bass) and the other with treble, mids and bass (3 Band Rat), and they both have an additional clipping option switch. Anyway, here's a pic of each of...

    Meatball Clone

Just finished a Lovetone Meatball clone. I've built a few in the past (the first one years ago on veroboard), another one with a PCB that i can't find for sale anymore, and this newest one using an Aion PCB. It sounds great and I incorporated on all of them the "Moog" switch, that I feel is a...
