How is this board meant to be used?

AKA protoboard. As in prototype. Yes, or you can use wire for longer runs. Solder it into a component adjacent hole and then bridge to the component. One advantage is you don't have a bunch of conductive surface.

    Nein fuzz volym pot pop

DC usually exhibits like a noisy pot across the range. Not in a particular spot. That 1u film should be blocking any DC You would see DC between lugs 1 and 3 if not. Did you measure your jfets or try swapping them?

    What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

$41 teeny tiny NAM player/IR loader Figured it's worth trying with. Can be powered off USBC so stick it in your pocket with a battery and walk around playing through captures. Djent in the woods? It was supposed to be the Chinese only version but it actually has Chinese and English! Sweet! Edit...

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Header pins for me. Even when your drilling is just a tiny bit off Only reason I prefer these is if I have to pull the board at some point, there's zero flex. --- Nice build. Was this a @pettert PCB?

    Harmonic Energizer

Nice build as always! Madbean used to have the Karate Shop that was also a 4 knob but used a quad opamp. Last rev was in 2015 and looks like no longer stocked.

    Suggestions for bipolar PSU??

I believe @johnk_10 has deployed several traco modules in builds. Maybe he could provide a few tips?

    Suggestions for bipolar PSU??

Not comparing every datasheet for ripple and such but any of these should be able to take a standard 9v tap input and convert a dual 12 out with more than enough current...

    Suggestions for bipolar PSU??

If you can find a traco TMDC 06-2422 for a decent price, it's 9v in and +/-12 out at 250ma/6W. Not sure the size of the enclosure or if there's room. But a 500mA 9-12 single supply would then be compatible. Gotta check out the modules. Brb. Traco and meanwell have some nice ones. Could fab a...

    New Pedal Releases

On the ozymandias some switches go L/R, others up/down. You were so close to a beautiful execution, and F'ed up the UI. I can't stand for knobs and switches 1 inch from stomps. I don't care how cool the graphic is. But, these are pedals from a eurorack company so not too surprised.

Problem may be that you used a volym pot instead of a volume pot.🤣

    Nein fuzz volym pot pop

You can position the.volume pot somewhere in the middle that doesn't make the noise then short legs 2 and 3 with some test leads or just solder a clipped lead across the pads. You should get full volume then, I think disclaimer, I'm not fully awake yet. If the noise goes away, it's the pot. If...
