i believe that it should. i'm thinking about modding an expression pedal to work with it by replacing the pot with a reverse audio 100K dual pot. I believe that the Korg XVP-10 uses a dual pot but it's not a dual 100K.

yes, i got it working perfectly now. i replaced a 22K resistor and re-flowed a few solder connections. i now have built two of them (and i really dig 'em), and they both sound just like my original.

well, i ordered another pcb and built it up since i couldn't find the problem with my first one's build. The new one is working perfectly. YAY!

probably the input one. like changing the 1uf to a 470nf or a 220nf.

it turns out that it's actually bright enough sounding, but it has a TON of low end no matter where the tone control is set as compared to my etched PCB version: all of the values of caps are the same, but i'm thinking that it may be due to using tanalum and MLCC ceramics in places instead of...

just continuity checked it and it's soldered fine.

gut shot:

i built one years ago with my own etched pcb and, IMO, it sounds a lot better. i'd like to make this new pedalpcb version sound more like it. i'll have to see if i used the same component values in it, so i think that i'll have to mod it.

i just finished building a Cream Pie in a 1590B with all top jacks and a relayed true bypass, and to me, it just sounds too dark, even with the tone control dimed. If it wasn't so dark sounding, i'd probably like it A LOT more.

i just ordered another pcb for it to see if the second build sounds like my original since this build doesn't work all that well.

edit: i just reflowed two solder connections that actually looked fine and reassembled it and it seems to be working much better, but still doesn't have anywhere near as powerful eq shaping as my original Stone Deaf pedal. new gut shot:

i did everything in this thread and mine's effect is more subtle and doesn't sound quite like my original Stone Deaf unit. i reflowed two solder connections (already looked good) and it seems to be a lot better now, but it's eq is not as deep (effective) and my original.

just finished mine. unfortunately it doesn't sound like my original Stone Deaf one. I can hear the filter but it's barely there compared to the original so i'm disappointed with it. my plus & minus control label also works in reverse of the original and the rotary switch deosn't do much at...
