Sorry, yes it is not working in true bypass. I can hear the relay click over when I turn on buffered bypass. The other relay clicks on when I plug in the pedal.

Looks like the stray wire was touching so I cut it. One of the NE555 chips was not seated as great as it could be so I reseated it. My voltages match what is in the build docs. It will work as a tuner now in buffered mode, but not in true bypass mode?

Also, just to have all culprits sorted out I doubled checked the board and I am not seeing any thing out of place.

I will try reseating the harness and going to try checking the voltages again. One of the NE555 chips does not seem to be seated properly going to try and reseat it as well.

I will try to push the pin out but I think it may be futile, anyways I ordered another screen just in case. I guess I am confused as the guide says the following: My harness is just missing the 19 green cable, shouldn't it technically still function?

When soldering on the ribbon cable, I managed to pull out one of the wires from the harness. It fires up, but the tuner does not work. Both relays are clicking on. Here are some pictures of the cable. If I need to buy another cable, is that a possibility?

Yeah definitely will remove the death cap and install a modern 3 conductor power cable. Strange that someone just removed the fuse and connected the wires together. So who knows how many components are fried.

Yes, it is a strange little amp, has tremolo built in. But to use the reverb you have to clip the leads onto another amp speaker.

This thing is a mess, looks like a majority of the wiring is toast, pots might be able to be salvaged. I have only built new amps and never tried to salvage or restore one. Honest opinion is this thing worth wasting time on? Came with these:

Definitely didn't try plugging it in. If you notice on the chassis, the spot for the fuse holder is missing. Opened the chassis and someone had bypassed the fuse completely and connected the wires with electrical tape.

Has the original Gibson labelled tubes still in it.

Visited my uncle today and he gave me this amp. It needs a good cleaning and has seen better days but going to try and restore it.
